You guys! It's 2023, I'm from Chile and You helped me soooo much with this video to decide if I want the Diana F+...And I totally want it 😍 beautiful video and excellent way to explain how to use it for the beginners like me ❤️ love from Chile
thank you so much! i didn’t know how to understand the written instructions, and y’all visualized and explained it perfectly. again, thank you so much!
I am an absolute beginner in photography and I recently purchased a Lomo Instant after being really indecided between the instant and the Diana F+. I think that I ended up buying the instant just to have the possibility to see my pictures right away and so identify my mistakes and correct them but I think that the Diana has something special, every picture has something really poetic, even if this camera is as cheap as it can be!
It`s so difficult to find a new video about Lomography! Thank you so much for this one. I have a Diana F and I'm using my first film, but isn't finished yet. I cannot wait to see the pictures after developed! :)
@@photosneverdie8658 I have the Gold DIanaF+. Well that doesn't make a difference. But last week I developed my first film. 3 out of 12 were pretty good. The rest is garbage. So sad.
You prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I would love any help you can give me.
@Joseph Kendall I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
I didn't expect this video to be a really informational one but thank you! It was very helpful even though I don't have one. I'd like one now however haha
loved it ….im 53 ...I had one when I was 7 or 8 it looks exactly the same ….but I did not know how to work it ..I did wind up with double exposeures tho ,,,,also did not know about the pin hole feature.
This was a great review! Really informative and interesting to watch. I'm thinking about getting this camera (in the deluxe kit) for my birthday soon. Have you tried out using the adaptor for DSLR with the Diana lenses? I want to get the kit (which comes with the Diana camera, lenses, and accessories) and then get the adaptor to use the lenses with my Canon. Love the photos you took with it!
Great job on this camera review. I've been shooting medium format a yr now and love it. I'm always reluctant to try the toy cameras especially with 120 film. I actually reviewed a lomography film on my channel also. Smooth edit you did on this.
Words can not describe how much I love my Diana F but now I have no idea where to take the fim to get developed, so just invested in a Diana 110 & 35mm
Your review is 6 years old now. You use a Portra 400. Now Portra400 films become expensive an the Kodak Gold200 at 120 size is out now. Is an ISO 200 film suitable as well for the Diana?
100iso and 200iso is ok for sunny days. 400 is best for sunny or bright overcast days. If indoor or dark overcast you will need to use the flash or B shutter setting.
What i don't like about analog camera is the cost and the time associated with it after taking photos, no instant sharing all those .... Is it worth it ? 😅.. but we can appreciate the vintage camera
Teniendo fantásticas cámaras en Japón, tanto antiguas como nuevas...¿por qué compráis esas basurillas? Y eso que yo también tengo una Diana pero prefiero una CANON, una NIKON etc. etc
@@NY1999. Well i think you should get a new camera, and if you want to get it phisically take an instant camera. But if you want it buy the pentax, more easy to use and more fast to develop.
@@joker8282 thanks for your fast anwer!! I already have an instant camera, I got a disposable camera and really lovee the photos, thats why i would like to get an analog camera, but not sure which one! Which pentax model would you recommend?
@@NY1999. Well, i can't say what, you need to go to an electronic shop and choose the perfect for you. I can't say if you would be satisfied. Choose the perfect one for yourself.
Full respect to you for liking this "camera" but I think that it's the worst and most over-priced piece of junk in the whole world. If you want to get shitty results than just buy a cheap smena 8 or something for a couple bucks GL
Up coming cloud rapper luca I'm not saying that wearing fake brands is the right thing to do but In my opinion there's a slightly different problem with it. It bothers me how much people care about brands and are willing to go as far as buying the fake thing. But still, I find it a bit rude to confront people like that.
I dont know why anyone would use this camera. The whole point of using medium format film is to get the benefits of 120 like higher quality and more DOF. With this lomo camera it looks worse than my point and shoot 35mm. Doesnt make any sense to me. just stick with 35mm if you want the vintage look or you have a low budget.

digital cameras also allow you to see your images pretty much right away ;))
all analog camera have a "special thing" you just need heard what it want to tell... be carefull.... Diana hype only...
@@joshweber2521i think everyone knows that
That damn music with that same refrain over an over...!
Thanks! I like wedging some paper in the take up reel, so that the film doesn't slide out!

Hii!! I'm planning on buying this camera but I saw some reviews saying that it doesn't work after 6 rolls of film. Is it true?

Do you need the flash to make the camera work?
Sounds like a great time with the lomo. Thanks for the walkthrough!
I don't agree. After some time it is sucking.
8:23 This is an amazing shot, considerating the fact that its a Diana f. I have one, and I used to like it, but now.. :(

How do you print those it's kinda obsolete here inbthe philippines you rarely see a studio printing films huhu
Great camera if you know how to use it. nice vid and good pictures :)
When i first load in the film, how much do i have to turn the spool till i see the number 1?
where did y’all get your film for this camera
I bought this camera and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately I live on a small island and all studios went digital.
Does the flash have to be replaced ?
8:49 You don't need Film! Just a digital camera and a Diana to shoot through! Ha :)
So gratefull for this video ☺️
When you advance the film...will the frame number show upside down?
can you upload pic from that camera
Great video and explanation. Thank you!
Great video guys!!! You answered all of my questions! Thank you! Off tot ry my diana f+

Nice video guys! i've a question: "diana multi pinhole operator" works in the same way?
thank you and sorry for my bad english =)

Very cool video! I'm looking forward to shoot 120mm too.
Have you tried developing at home? Is it harder than the 35mm or the same?

They buy because it results in an intentional low-fidelity and dreamy photo effect. That’s what Lomography is you uninformed clown

just what i needed.

Amazing video
Thanks!! Your video make me google find the online shop lol

Why 80mm is not respect in digital
2024 still working
so why does it sometimes have the black circle around the shot?
Aaron Stevens you might be leaving it on pin shot
thank you !! very helpfull
Thanks
Thanks for the info but that music - ugh. I had to stop watching.
your a star bright in the night sky
the price for this thing ...... just why?! i am sure is cost less to import a true 120 camera.
Thank you SO MUCH!
how did you digitize your photos?
maybe by scanning them
how do you scan them you fucking absolute fucking walnut
the fuck is wrong with you ?
When getting them developed you can ask to have the pictures put on a disc
haha, aggro to the max
aren't those guys a little bit high or they are just asians?
