It sounds like a whole new bike. Mine is pretty quiet and I'm not wanting to spend much on accessories so I'm going to keep mine stock. Thanks for the how to video. 👍
Thanks for the video , I have a windshield already to go and the bigger pegs are a must .
But that exhaust sounds great , not to loud , with a nice tone .
Questions is the airbox to close in your opinion and should we just wrap it first .
And did the jet change make it faster a few miles an hour would make a huge difference.
I have 2300 mile on mine .
I can consistently on a flat ground with little headwinds achive 62 mph or 100 klmph
I have also received the
SSS Big Bore Kit which I well install . After a carburetor is sorted and possibly a cam and new head .
Turning this great best buck bike into an inexpensive contender for $700 or less .
A shame that Honda did not give us the XR190L first .
A clear mistake to have good emissions , than all the evap clutter they put on this model.
I like the hand rack on this bike..... it's the best rack I've seen & if you add a luggage rack get the one that leaves this stock piece on
the bike b/c that piece is like gold when it comes to moving or having to pick this bike up! Thanks for the video, I'm digging into all
I can about her & might own one soon? peace
The " 115 " is what I've seen several times when doing both the airbox/exhaust & removing the fuel vent canister emissions
crap! They did all that in one swoop but tried a couple other jets prior to putting the 115 into her. Thanks for the video.
The Honda sounds amazing. Looks like a quality exhaust too. Thanks Jason.
Sweet build.
Nice!! I went with the iSTUNT Racing exhaust and I really like it.
this was super helpful! I was contemplating getting one of those amazon mufflers but now i know i shouldn't because of the header sticking out so much. And whats the benefit of taking off the air injection system? im far from a tinkerer like yourself but i'd love to know.
I wish i saw this a few months back before i bought the other amazon one. That one needs way more modification! Luckily amazon refunded me because it was supposed to fit! This looks way easisr! Still unsure if i want to make the one i have fit with some help from welder. Or get this one or get the new scooter swap shop stainless stell exhaust! Thanks for the video
on my bike I have the same exhaust, I find it quite good but a little too noisy. I added a baffle to try to limit the noise a little
I put the stock one back on mine after a few trips…lol
@@AppalachianMountainRiders At low revs it's okay, but as soon as it goes up in revs...
@@AppalachianMountainRiders on the other hand I replaced my PZ carburetor with a PE26 Nibbi, I am quite satisfied, I recommend it, I would say that it is the happy medium between the PZ and the PWK.
Appreciate the video 👍
I'm curious how the mods affected top speed.........
and fuel economy; cause I'm weird like that.
What are your goals for top speed?
@DSteel5408 don’t have a goal. It goes 55-60 stock which is plenty for my needs. Just after a little better power to pull hills being I live in the Appalachian mountains.
@@AppalachianMountainRiders I’ve basically completely built mine and can go 75mph on flat and climbs hills at 70mph with stock gearing. If you would like some advice just let me know. I did everything in stages.
What is the benefit of removing the air injection system?
Easier cold starts and less “popping” from the exhaust on deceleration
You said in the vid you have 300 miles on it. But it really opens up around 1200 miles or so.
Got just over 1k now so that’s great to hear!
@@AppalachianMountainRiders I noticed a boost in performance on mine around 1100-1200 miles and went online and lots of others said the same. Not sure if all of them will but don't be surprised if yours does. Great, simple bikes.
Your audio is terrible!
