Spontain played in 15 to 30 minutes, the session for child in time was nearly over and than blackmore came and make a wonderful good rocking skilled solo, the end vs lords hammond is quiet tricky and fast to play... my favorite solo of all time. Long live blackmore
Then a couple of years later this thing comes along called 'Made in Japan' and the performance of 'CiT' on that album has maybe the best live guitar solo of the 70's, if not the best guitar solo of all time.

This is Blackmore's 2nd mind-blowing solo to me after highway star ⭐ on deep purple 💜 and no more other better guitarists' solos than his here up to now. I also love his solos on deep purple's "smoke on the water, pictures of home, etc"

I have never listened to this version of Blackmore's solo at any live performance of Deep Purple, which has recorded. Especially the beginning... Does anybody know why?
Blackers wasn't a musician that played solos exactly as the Studio versions. He wanted to give the fans a live experience. He doesn't get boring. I like the Made In Japan recordings on all those recordings.

If you think Ritchie is good, you need to listen to Ulrich Roth. Honestly my opinion is Roth is the best of all time but the great part about it is...I’m right, and wrong. There are soooo many amazing sounds out there. This solo is amazing.
Animal is a really great song too, though. A lot of fun to play and I would definitely recommend trying to master that song inside out before even attempting this one.
