Cuase yes, he was flirting with him but as he stated he was just bluffing. But the fact that Blitz reacted favorably to his efforts makes him discover that he wanted more and what his desire role during sex. Not kink shaming anyone but you can see why he is so attracted to be in the bottom role and why he likes to comply in bed. As he stated: "HE WAS CRAVING ATTENTION" and for him the fact that this attention came from Blitz make it even better (since he is already emotionally attach to him). Finally you can see that the took 2 "Happy Pills" at the start but almost at the end we saw him taking a handful of pills so maybe we can deduce that his depression is going worse and worse. He is indeed a lonely prince in a golden throne unable to have freedom and love...He have all the power but none of this truly desires are fullfilled. And to finish this very long comment...the way Stella was about to hit Stolas in the face makes me think that it was not the first time she hit him. So for me she tormented Stolas not just psychologically but also physically...and that's teeeeeerrible. I think both Blitz and Stolas in the bottom are caring beings just craving to have real emotional connections but neither of them really know what to do or how to express it. Thanks for reading this long ass comment and I can't wait for the next episode😁😁😁
Honestly, i am surprised that Stella is even surprised that he wants the divorce. She knows how she acted. She calls Stolas a Traitor and an Emberassment, when (in my opinion) she was the one who betrayed him and emberassed herself every day.
I think it may even be because she just grew up like it and she seems like a choleric. So yeah maybe she even was abused herself so it is possible and many people reflect it in the future differently. But the most cases are the people trying to better them and then there are the ones that carry the anger the whole time around and just spread it. A clear example is Stolas and Blitz. You can see that even with Stolas,he still got similairities to his father. Meanwhile as it seems Blitz got it differently as in he tried to built contact and it always got broken while Stolas basically just couldn't. That is another reason why it ended up differently for each one. But that is my view on it :) Anyways sorry if my english is bad T-T Sometimes I am pretty bad at explaining my point of view I hope you understand Have a great night/day. Purple you ♡
Fizz is not Blitzo's brother, they're more like childhood friends and co-workers at this circus. Blitzo does not have a brother that we know of, however he does have a sister, her name is Barbie Wire. There's several instances where you can see her on a poster in IMP in previous episodes. Verosika also mentions in episode 3 that she's in rehab, though that might have been just an insult to mock Blitzo, we don't have any confirmation that's actually where she is currently.
I just realized when stella said stolas will “pay for it” she is implying she wants him dead bc in ep 5 she was the one who hired striker to kill stolas.
Poor Stolas is still a prisoner to his lineage. He's one of many, said his father..."There are so many." He seems to be trying to be "The good son." I think Stolas has nothing but earnest thoughts.
I don't think kid Stolas's question "Is it an imp game?" is racist, he tries to be a considerate friend and support his culture. (And Blitz goes along with it so he can talk him into the robbing "game"). It feels a bit weird to me that the robbing has zero seen consequences, maybe the family is so rich they don't even care.
The lack of consequences, to me, makes sense to be included because it might’ve influenced Blitz to overcome the fear of getting caught stealing or doing any sort of crime. He starts off as a kid really afraid of it, but after being able to pull it off and nothing to come of it, it might’ve shifted his morals more towards the man he grew up to be. That and it clearly gave him the ability to think he could steal the book from Stolas’ room by himself later in life.
I don't think it was meant particularly to be a racist statement but it WAS for SURE a classist one. Imps being constantly protrayed as the lower or lowest rung of hell's class system. "Is this a poor people game?" Basically
I'm late for notes, these are my thoughts that I want to share: > 1:44 The mansion looks like Stolas' own, but with Paimons insignia on it, this mansion might have been a hands down to Stolas once he has come of proper age > 1:57 That at the background looks like the same bathtub that we see at Ep.1, albiet just smaller > 2:18 Baby Stolas Portaits. The imp doll that he cuddled in bed and is cuddling in the portraits might have signified that he already had a fascination with imps at a young age > 2:45 Paimon is confirmed to have multiple children, might also mean that he has multiple wives > 5:22 The girl on the tight rope looks like a young Barbie Wire, Blitzo's twin sister > Interesting note is that, a lot of the circus imps have the same mark on their foreheads, would probably indicate that they are a group and not just a family crest that some people have theorized > 8:04 No, that's Fizzarolli > 8:13 As some people in the comments have pointed out, Fizz isn't really Blitzo's brother, they are child hood best friends and at one point in their lives became lovers > 8:54 Here, we see Blitzo's dad have a heavy favoritism towards Fizzarolli rather than his own son, to the point that he's willing to sell Blitzo for 5 dollars and a condom > 9:40 Hooo boy, I have thoughts on this one, for me at least, this scene might be a really big RED FLAG. Why? This might be a hint on how Fizzarolli may have lost his limbs. Let's break down the interactions between the two balloon horses. The worm horse lost its legs in the "great pirate war", worm horse fought back against its assailants, the worm horse tried to run away, only to be caught up by said assailants, leading to them taking worm horse's limbs. Next banana pudding helps worm horse feel better, then apparently more blood. Now why do I think this might be a RED FLAG? Let's think for a bit, the story might be over dramatisized, but here are my thoughts, Blitzo and Fizzarolli in someway got into a fight, not with each other but with other people. My speculation is that the "great pirate war" might have been a rival circus. Maybe jealous of Fizzarolli's rising fame. Getting pushed back, Blitzo and Fizzarolli runs away, fleeing the fight. The assailants somehow caught up to them or just Fizz and proceeded to chop him up and take his limbs. After everything, Blitzo wanting to help his friend picks him up and tries to leave, somewhere there, an accident might have occurred causing Blitzo to have a white scar on the right side of his face, hense more blood. > 12:01 Guilt tripping and gaslighting > 13:00 I like the way how Stolas sits, really cute > 14:30 Background music is the occasion bgm that we hear whenever the IMP gang are doing their work, only this one is more childish at heart > 15:39 BGM is now the BGM of Ep.7 outro > 20:36 Happy Pills, Don't do drugs kids > 24:01 The Hellhound Doberman[??] on the left is wagging his tail > 24:07 Rose colored lenses > 24:21 Doberman[??] boi is sad now > 24:56 The contrast of the 2 paintings is stunning > My god, music bops > 31:00 Someone in twitter apparently already has translated this > 32:56 Stolas has been physically abused so much that he already knows the trajectory of that slap > Might have missed a lot of things but oh well...
This was an emotional rollercoaster, the animation was beautiful everyone did such a wonderful job at creating this lovely animation. The voice acting was amazing as well. Stolas deserves so much better than Stella, hopefully he can find someone who actually makes him happy. The song at the end was spectacular, and I'm so proud of Stolas finally standing up to Stella. Can't wait to see what the team has in store for us next. Great reaction, and analysis as always.
wow I'm so thankful you shared that story about being from a lower class and that want to steal from richer kid's houses when you visited.... It was such a guilty awful feeling to have but it felt so clear that they had SO much more than they could ever miss. I feel like its something a lot of people just don't get about Blitzø's perspective here. I see people mostly pitying Stolas and being really upset with Blitzø for not feeling bad for stealing but... even though its immoral like look at the optical extremes of living in a tent with dirt floors and a literal PALACE. I love your perspective and the way you want to take in both sides and think deeper on them! I think this episode, despite focusing on Stolas, gave us a great view into both men.
when blitz was talking to stolas about getting a big business with a big office and then he says I'll hire you maybe. do you think that's foreshadowing stolas joining blitz's company in the future?
Yeah this episode of helleva boss was amazing and explained so much, I loved your reaction to it. Also 16:33 I can also relate to this. Whenever I was invited to the richer kids houses, which was only twice, I was so shocked. Both of their houses were freaking huge, and everything in their houses looked so much fancier compared to anything I owned. I was honestly really jealous
Representing helluva community from Vietnam 🇻🇳 🤗. Finally, this wonderful piece of art has appeared in the mortal realm. 9:08 I chuckled with Paimon’s reply yet felt pity for how Blitz was “purchased”. A five hell bucks & a slim fit condom, damn sarcasm 😕🙄 30:00 I think that’s “ Belphegor Hard Candy”, one of the seven princes of hell. It’s believed that Belphegor tempts by means of laziness. According to Binsfeld's Classification of Demons, Belphegor is the chief demon of the deadly sin known as Sloth in Christian tradition. A new clue for the Sloth ring, they make medicine 😂. 31:33 the most painful part of the episode 💔 I don’t know what about u guys, I can’t stand watching that conversation. It’s so “sore” (or like that b*tch said: tormenting). At least my prince stood up and made his mind clear yet with those eyes of her is just to foresee the “Striker, baby, Striker”)
Fizz and Blitzo actually aren't brothers! They're about the same age and grew up in the same clown troop, but they aren't straight-up brothers. Blitzo only has one sibling: a twin sister.
I just came across your reaction to this episode and I think it's my favorite so far - you're putting so much thought and analysis into what's happening, and taking the time to do so instead of talking over scenes and missing them. Definitely going to check out your other reactions. :)

Thank you for the awesome commentary! I really liked how you could relate to the themes of this episode and how you took your time to share with us your personal thoughts. The episode itself was really amazing, sad and cute. Oh boy, a lot things are awaiting us
I was wondering if you were going to do more react videos. I just subscribed and binged all of your Helluva Boss videos. Honestly so this really seems to like him I think his Butler took good care of him and one of his favorite plushies was a imp version of bunny from Sam and Max. Not to mention him being head over heels for blitzo. And mind you he's formal with all the imps he interacts with but he's never downright rude. Also a phone call back to the finale of last season that we got he bows to blitz when he gets out the portal
You know I'm a little surprised that I haven't seen anyone mention Blitz's mother. After watching ep. 7 to see him crying about his mother in that episode, to notice that his father and young Blitzø even mentioned his mother again is quite shocking. (I know this episode is more about Stolas but we could still gain little hints and I'm not someone to theorize either but I'm just one to point that out.)
It is so sad and so fucked up that Stolas never had ever looking out for him, or really care for him. He’s always being used, neglected or abused by the people near him, except his daughter. The thing with Blitzø reinforces the same dynamic they had as children if you think about it. Stolas likes Blitzø, at the start Blitzø is only there to steal something from him, but eventually he ends up enjoying his company and stays around with no second means. How the deal between them started is so fucked up in so many ways; i dont know if its worst stolas being used again from somebody he loves or Blitzø having to steal and eventually sell himself (quite litteraly when he was a kid, in a sexual sense as adults) in order to be someone in his reality. I’m not here to say “He DiDn’T HaVe ChOiCe” but if you look around most of imps are servants (indeed striker goes “not many imps start business on their own “) so he did quite a work on being independent. How the deal started and the deal itself are both so fucked up, in so many ways. Yet i hope they can solve this😭
Also like a couple people have said I love the sheer emotion behind stolas through Bryce Pinkham. He provides such a emotional depth through the song and through the "I don't care." Bit towards the end you feel the sadness then the righteous anger at stella. Also as much as we love too hate her Stella is portrayed as a abusive harpy you love too hate and have too respect her actress for that much.
21:31 I didn’t see anyone mention this, so important correction: Cis (or cisgender) means you identify with the sex you were born as (aka NOT transgender, the OPPOSITE of transgender). I hope you see this because that’s a huge mistake lol. You essentially called Stolas transgender. But you’re right that he’s obviously not straight. Also 13:57 is definitely not racist lmao, he's just asking cause he's never heard of the game. Totally fine to wonder if it comes from a culture you don't know about. He looks interested and excited as well, it's not like he was making fun of Blitzo or something.
Nate you should really watch “Was STOLITZ DOOMED From the Start” by Sarcastic Chorus. It really helps explain some stuff you might not have pick up on about Blitzø and Stolas’s relationship, I know it helped me. Btw I’m not say you should react to this video but if you could watch it in you free time it’s very interesting and really sheds a knew light on their relationship. I’d be very greatful if you gave this video a shot!
I don't think Stolas is being racist here, really. I think he wants to please his new friend (and I like to think he's read enough books to know that he should respect culture. I mean he even bowed to Blitz and got smacked for it!). Stolas is *desperately* lonely and very much a giving-in child, and Blitzo is confident and seems to know more about the world even when he doesn't. Even when describing his books, that he's read front to back and front again, we see him tend to back down.
Hello; Well, I'm from Mexico; I was a middle class girl in a school where children of politicians and entrepreneurs abounded; Can you believe they were the ones taking my stuff, and passing it off as their own when I faced them? At that time i was an outstanding student; Every year there was a fair where the outstanding students received prizes in exchange for stamps that the teachers gave you for each merit. I collected too many on one occasion, and those fellows accused me of stealing them. They took me to the principal to clear things up the day of the fair, and they had to call all the teachers to testify that I was telling the truth, and I came out of it pretty well. The bad thing is that when they finished questioning me, the fair was already over, and I didn't get any prize because everyone had already beaten me to it because of the time I lost with the director. This attitude of my classmates affected me, and I became very resentful. In middle school, I had the opportunity to go into the classrooms after school because I had extra hours because my grades had dropped a lot, and in revenge, I took many things that my classmates left on their desks. I'm not proud of my actions, but back then I felt like my childhood was ruined, and I didn't think about moving on with my life, which is what I did after going to therapy.
im from a bit upper over middle class but nt too far up my friend lower class to middle we both played sky landers and we would share the ones we had i had more of the newer ones but he always had the older ones he would get or find if someone tossed out he got a bucket filled of them from a junk yard i remember when that happened
Fizz and Blitzo are obviously not brothers, just in this episode Blitzos dad doesn't call Fizz his son, but does with Blitzo. And in one of the trailer shots they stare in to each others eyes. And even back in episode 6 when Blitzo is in his mind only love interests are there, Stolas, Verosika, Striker, so Fizz being there would be an odd choice. And in all the pictures we've seen throughout the series there's no family pic with Fizz included, there seperet. So if others still think that they are brothers you must not be paying enough attention. Edit: And the thing about the tattoos on the forehead is that its simply the branding of the circus.
Honestly, can't blame Paimon. Technically there are a lot of his children, I know (maybe) in this universe. Other kings will have members of the ars goetia. But there are 72 demons of the ars goetia so... can't really blame the dude for forgetting. :|
@@cloverlucky5977 King in the Ars goetia. If your talking about hells hierarchy then it's Lucifer, then Charlie and Lilith, then the seven deadly princes, then the ars goetia, overlords, sinners, hellborns, then imps and he'll hounds.
That definitely makes sense. Especially when we seen how Goetia are constantly targeted in Loo Loo Land episode. Paimon saying he didn’t want to sit with the poor but letting his son sit in danger definitely highlights his lack of care.

To be fair, Paimon has 70 kids, so I can see why he'd wonder which one Stolas is. XD
yeah ikr. No one would be able to remember that lol
Damn, he needs to sit down somewhere 😭
Wait so does that mean Stella is his half sister?🧐
@@ihavenocommonsensebut2008probably a distant cousin
Honestly, i am surprised that Stella is even surprised that he wants the divorce. She knows how she acted.
She calls Stolas a Traitor and an Emberassment, when (in my opinion) she was the one who betrayed him and emberassed herself every day.
In all fairness, her type of behavior is probably REALLY common in Hell. So yeah, she knows how she acted, but she probably just doesn't care.
I think she was surprised because stolas FINALLY stood up for himself
@@onettaviator5396 Yeah, in some way, they are a product of their World. And abusers never care.
But that is my view on it :)
Anyways sorry if my english is bad T-T Sometimes I am pretty bad at explaining my point of view I hope you understand
Have a great night/day.
12:38
Omg, look at Blitzo's expression when Stolas' father hits him..
This child was definitely abused
I just realized when stella said stolas will “pay for it” she is implying she wants him dead bc in ep 5 she was the one who hired striker to kill stolas.
Fun fact, both stolas' and Blitzo's (the o is silent) fathers are both voice acted by Jafar from disneys Alladin.
Random reminder that Stolas is the calmest, most patient Goetic prince.
" so i dont have to smell the poor "

I think the most hilarious part about this reaction is you brought up Aladin and the Voice actor for Paimon played Jafar in Aladin.
Literally AND I MISSED IT LMAO
Same for Goatzo, Blitzø's dad haha
I'm late for notes, these are my thoughts that I want to share:
> 1:44 The mansion looks like Stolas' own, but with Paimons insignia on it, this mansion might have been a hands down to Stolas once he has come of proper age
> 1:57 That at the background looks like the same bathtub that we see at Ep.1, albiet just smaller
> 2:18 Baby Stolas Portaits. The imp doll that he cuddled in bed and is cuddling in the portraits might have signified that he already had a fascination with imps at a young age
> 2:45 Paimon is confirmed to have multiple children, might also mean that he has multiple wives
> 5:22 The girl on the tight rope looks like a young Barbie Wire, Blitzo's twin sister
> Interesting note is that, a lot of the circus imps have the same mark on their foreheads, would probably indicate that they are a group and not just a family crest that some people have theorized
> 8:04 No, that's Fizzarolli
> 8:13 As some people in the comments have pointed out, Fizz isn't really Blitzo's brother, they are child hood best friends and at one point in their lives became lovers
> 8:54 Here, we see Blitzo's dad have a heavy favoritism towards Fizzarolli rather than his own son, to the point that he's willing to sell Blitzo for 5 dollars and a condom
> 9:40 Hooo boy, I have thoughts on this one, for me at least, this scene might be a really big RED FLAG.
> 12:01 Guilt tripping and gaslighting
> 13:00 I like the way how Stolas sits, really cute
> 14:30 Background music is the occasion bgm that we hear whenever the IMP gang are doing their work, only this one is more childish at heart
> 15:39 BGM is now the BGM of Ep.7 outro
> 20:36 Happy Pills, Don't do drugs kids
> 24:01 The Hellhound Doberman[??] on the left is wagging his tail
> 24:07 Rose colored lenses
> 24:21 Doberman[??] boi is sad now
> 24:56 The contrast of the 2 paintings is stunning
> My god, music bops
> 31:00 Someone in twitter apparently already has translated this
> 32:56 Stolas has been physically abused so much that he already knows the trajectory of that slap
> Might have missed a lot of things but oh well...
GOD DAMN THATS A LOT WITHOUT EDITING
At 11:11 I never noticed till now but there's a family portrait in the background! Blitz, his sister and his mom and dad! Omg how cute!
A five hell bucks & a slim fit condom, damn sarcasm 😕🙄
30:00 I think that’s “ Belphegor Hard Candy”, one of the seven princes of hell.
I really love your reactions. You really understand these characters and don't only care for the comedy.
Fizz and Blitzo actually aren't brothers! They're about the same age and grew up in the same clown troop, but they aren't straight-up brothers. Blitzo only has one sibling: a twin sister.
The true main character of helluva boss is the diabetic snake horse.
where's more helluva reactions? i was loving your reactions :
I don’t think Fizz and Blitzo are brothers since Blitzo’s dad didn’t call Fizz his son.
I feel that So Many forget that part of the reason these side characters are so horrible is the fact that it takes place in ACTUAL HELL
I still love that both their fathers are voiced by Jafar from Aladdin! xD
I just came across your reaction to this episode and I think it's my favorite so far - you're putting so much thought and analysis into what's happening, and taking the time to do so instead of talking over scenes and missing them. Definitely going to check out your other reactions. :)

Love the videos nate!!, Can't wait for more episodes!
When blizo and fizz where playing with horses it reminded me of the mysterious wedding sound/ animistic
I think your the first to catch on that this whole thing was a flashback up until Stolas waking up in his suit from last season/episode

it feels nice to see you again :DD
Thank you! Welcome back!
I love the song I love this episode it's so cute it's so sad it's everything
Is it just me becaus I love how baby stolas squeaks every time he is pet
Baby Stolas, oh my god I love him. he is the cutest goddamn thing in the 9 circles of hell.
Cant wait to see the reaciton on ep2
that was beautiful. And amazing video

I don’t think that it’s a dog & a wolf but rather a Doberman & a Siberian Husky.
I still can't believe Stolas is SO YOUNG. Jesus. I have been assuming all this time that as a Goetia Demon he was *thousands of years old.*

You should react to Brandon Rogers too his the voice actor of blitzo and one of the co-writers of helluva boss he has some great things on his channel
I love how he sais sTaLaS insted of stolas
I.Cannot.wait. For.this.
You do know there are more episodes in this season now, right?
Wait I just noticed inside of stolas’ cape filled of moving stars

That definitely makes sense. Especially when we seen how Goetia are constantly targeted in Loo Loo Land episode. Paimon saying he didn’t want to sit with the poor but letting his son sit in danger definitely highlights his lack of care.
