we need more Laura like this uplifting everyone in this world we would all remember our interaction with her shes not only a great photographer but a kind happy person.
Wow, she's so magnetic. I have an artist friend I've known for 58 years that's so like this. I would say she's flamboyant, but that doesn't really do her justice. I'm in awe of how she communicates with people.
i want to be like her, but i am afraid to be so positive and infectious. its like as a man its not manly to be positive, as if it might lead to people think i am after something or they will try to get something from me
@@cyano3d i feel the same, we can definitely be more positive than we are though, but its a struggle out there, i made my first video recently and i couldn't even bring myself to do voice over or be on camera im so in my head and awkward shy but one step at a time maybe i'll be as outward showing as this girl one day, lets be real same thing with men crying its looked down upon it seems, hell i've never seen my dad cry, but i think that vibe is slowly changing in the real work, but it does is remind me of the quote "Most men lead lives of quiet desperation" i feel that for sure!
I’m constantly in awe of Laura’s energy and positivity. Whenever I run into her she’s like the sun, such good vibes. Had no idea she started with disposables as well, but her attention to detail and color is impeccable. So happy you had the chance to interview her.
Paulie….Paulie…Paulie, this might possibly be the BEST Walkie Talkie to date, and that’s saying A LOT!! What an AMAZING soul and beautiful human being Laura is!! I haven’t smiled that much watching a UA-cam video…EVER!!!
It's so easy to fall into negativity about life and other people, but then Laura turns up with her camera, the perfect antidote. Great 'walkie talkie'.
This is exactly why I love photography, and I love that she sends the photos to the people! That's what I'm all about, too. (Learned a lot from this video, thanks for doing it.)
This series is an absolute gift and Laura is a radiant gem of a human being. Please never stop making these videos and please showcase more artists like her
Can’t help but feel the joy for photography radiating through the screen. My favourite thing about this series is taking a little piece of inspiration from all of these amazing photographers. Please make these forever ✌🏼
It was great when she said sending people their pictures was her favorite thing. That is such a meaningful part of photography. Cool person. The picture of the three skater girls is great.
Thank you Paulie for creating this platform. It awaked something in me that has back on the streets shooting. And laura.. thank you for being you. Using Photography to spread joy and positivity is necessary in this day n age. Love this content truly❤❤❤❤❤
Great video. Lovely person. Great images. Loved the “smile behind the mask”. Shooting in the streets during the pandemic in Sweden was just like any other time. Everything was just like normal.
As someone who struggles with approaching people on the street I’m envious of Laura’s energy. This was a big inspiration and would love to get that comfortable out there.
I started watching this as I laid frozen in bed because my executive dysfunction was acting up. Laura made my day with her positivity and reminded me why I love shooting portraits of strangers and creating connections. I'm now packing up and heading out of the house to shoot a bit. Thank you Paulie and Laura for snapping me out of it 🙏🏽
Dang, I really don't think you'll be happy one day looking back on a life full of excuse making. You need to learn to snap yourself out of it. There is no substitute for personal responsibility.
What an absolutely UNREAL walkie talkie. I watched the whole thing with a massive smile on my face. Laura exudes joy and that is what she’s putting out into this world ❤ what a legacy!
This is such a different way of approaching street and it definitely shows in her portfolio. This is evidence that no UA-cam video, course, influencer, or class, can really change who you are. You're born with it and nothing can change that, I've thought about this recently how there's a particular way I approach street that no matter really what I do I fall back into shooting that way. You may be able to improve or add things but at the end of the day there's a skeleton you start with and that's just the way it is. She approaches street like Laura Fuchs and nobody else and I tremendously respect and admire that.
Laura has an amazing way to explain the person behind the camera. “I’m nostalgic for this moment in the moment” 😂😂 This is how is exactly how I feel when I shoot!
Forget the pictures (which are great) Laura is great!! Her personality is so joyful and why wouldn't a moment meeting her not be a great part of your day! Keep being amazing!
About three minutes in and I thought about Nordic countries and Germany where 'street chit-chat' is just not done, and I thought that Laura would have a tough time there, but by the end of the video I realized that Laura can get anyone to stop and chat. Fabulous! :-)
That’s so untrue. I live in Malmö, Sweden and is out on the streets a couple of days a week sometimes and almost always chitchat with people. No matter if I’m shooting in Sweden or abroad. I’m usually walking the streets with a smile on my face and often have people coming up to me talking and asking me for taking their pictures. And I’m a tall 59 year old man. You receive what you send out.
She is one of my favorite u have had on so far. I really admire folks who can bring positive light to folks who never get photos of themselves taken. Everyone deserves to have a good photo of themselves. Im finding older men are usually the most happy to get photos taken of themselves or of their stuff. It's that little smile and change of energy that's worth it.
I think her success as a photographer is rooted in her attitude and positive nature. Such an inspiration. Her interaction with strangers seems effortless
I love Laura's feature so much! I have zero interest in portraits or commercial work but her attitude and passion had me reeled in from the jump. So inspirational. I was going to stay in today but I'm getting out there when I finish this lol.
The thing I most love about this channel is, it isn't just about photography. Laura's attitude towards life is simply awe inspiring. On top of photography, so many life tips. What more to ask for??
She’s so right about learning someone’s name! I never knew why but always felt knowing someone’s name is a password to friendliness. Love her photos of the people in the Brooklyn park. Amazing young lady, so glad I know of her now!
My favorite episode so far. Laura is such a beautiful soul. I'm older than her but she reminds me of my mother who got me into photography 30 years ago when she gave me her camera when she upgraded. Best 10th birthday present ever. I don't see or meet too many people that shoot that I relate to so closely as her. Great stuff! Keep shining your light on the world Laura!
Finally another Woman photographer, in Women's History Month no less! 👍🏾 I'm so glad Laura mentioned Bill Cunningham, the legend of NYC fashion street photography. He's not mentioned enough on UA-cam photography videos. Awesome she got to meet him. He's one of my favorites too, his documentaries are amazing. That's actually who I thought of watching her in the video. She has a great personality and smiles with and for people. She gained a new fan and follower from me. Definitely inspiring me to get out there in my city using both digital and film. 👏🏾👍🏾 Pauly can we get the names of all the photographers she took pics of? 😁
You don't often meet people that emit as much positivity and general good energy into the world, but Laura seems like such an awesome and uplifting individual! You probably made everyones day who you took photos of.
Laura isn't capturing joy, she exudes it and shares it with others. The world needs more like her.
She is a delightful person and a world class photographer.
She has so much disposable energy. It baffles me to see something like this after all those years of depression. Good for her!
she's casually walking around giving people their best profile pictures in their lives for free
She really is though!!! LOL
Laura's enthusiasm is amazing. One of the most under utilized tools in photography.
we need more Laura like this uplifting everyone in this world we would all remember our interaction with her shes not only a great photographer but a kind happy person.
It’s embarrassing how fast I am at watching these as soon as they come up
Are you me?!
This is like drugs 👁️👄👁️
I’m jealous of how fast you saw it
It’s embarrassing? These are amazing though
Wow, she's so magnetic. I have an artist friend I've known for 58 years that's so like this. I would say she's flamboyant, but that doesn't really do her justice.
I'm in awe of how she communicates with people.
So proud of my big sis!! Spreading joy everywhere she goes, love you Laura!!
Dude I just watched this and your sis seems like one of the coolest people ever.
She is terrific
Shes awsome!
This is how to be a human. In a crazy city you will not forget meeting her.
This girls personality is something else, rare that I watch a video with a wide smile the entire time! She’s unreal!
i want to be like her, but i am afraid to be so positive and infectious. its like as a man its not manly to be positive, as if it might lead to people think i am after something or they will try to get something from me

@@cyano3d why have to be manly in the first place?
Guys, I don't know, this one got me emotional, not even sure why. Such an incredible human being, wish we had more people like her.
Finding joy, and capturing joy, with an “old-school” 5D + 40mm pancake, and a film camera. Well-done!
I have never seen such a large dose of positive energy from a person taking pictures on the street, amazing.
Her energy 🔥 the world needs more of this
I’m constantly in awe of Laura’s energy and positivity. Whenever I run into her she’s like the sun, such good vibes. Had no idea she started with disposables as well, but her attention to detail and color is impeccable. So happy you had the chance to interview her.
❤
What a ray of sunshine. We need more Lauras on this planet!
Her energy is so contagious ❤
Paulie….Paulie…Paulie, this might possibly be the BEST Walkie Talkie to date, and that’s saying A LOT!! What an AMAZING soul and beautiful human being Laura is!! I haven’t smiled that much watching a UA-cam video…EVER!!!
Her interactions with people left a smile on my face. She's dope.
This was an absolutely pleasure! Thank you.
I am going to save this, and watch it again and again, just before I go out for a photowalk. She's medicine.
It's so easy to fall into negativity about life and other people, but then Laura turns up with her camera, the perfect antidote. Great 'walkie talkie'.

This girl represents all my goals as a street photographer. Literally. All of them!
This is gold. Thank you Laura and thank you @PaulieB
The relationship she has with the lab owner is absolutely precious! Fantastic episode. I wanna be like Laura when I grow up.
Wow anyone struggling with street photography, and feeling to introvert, here is your masterclass!
I haven't been out for a long time you have inspires me.❤
Her genuine love and kindness towards strangers is an inspiration. In a mater of seconds she makes a new friend with every interaction.
"This is what we do, make friends, takes pictures of people..." ♥. It's refreshing to see photographers talk with people. Another great episode.
The world needs more Laura’s
“Smiles are free” ❤️
She's a great, shining example of the best of humans and worthy goal for anyone to emulate.

I love walkie talkies where they actually take pictures. This is an amazing episode.
Laura has the great ability to make people feel good about themselves.
This has exposed me to a new approach to street photography. Thanks for sharing!
Her energy is INFECTIOUS!!
Bro, her energy is out of this world! Such a lovely person!
What a lovely lady..... Full of energy and joy! Watching this video is like therapy....
Laura is the definition of a ray of sunshine: she's so much positive, vibrant, and welcoming energy.

God I wish I had her around on those rougher days. Impossible to not smile with that energy! "Don't save that smile" amazing
I could watch another 3 hours of her, or probably more. It is one of the best sessions.
Love you Laura! Solid foundation under every shoot, Joy and more Joy!
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone smile that much or be so genuinely positive. What a star. Another great Paulie - thanks ✊
This is by far the best episode. Lauras energy is incredible, I could watch another 40 minutes.
Absolutely brilliant watch.
Such a rad way to use photography to connect with people and give out compliments!
How could anybody resist her fun and bubbly personality?
