Well I Tried.........Steam Deck Dual Boot

- Well I got my hands on a 2tb Ssd and wanted to keep the current Windows 11 and add Steam OS to it. But after many tries and ways to do so, I failed to accomplish the task at hand. So for this video, we will see what I done to the 2tb Ssd and how I'm able to still use Steam OS.
I spent multiple days trying to get a dual boot working. I managed to get it eventually, but it was a huge pain. Now I have a small partition for SteamOS, a small partition for Windows, and a larger shared partition where I install games. It starts into a clover boot menu by default.
I don't ever want to try it again. It was an incredibly frustrating experience.
Yeah see I did it like that as well but I still wanted to keep mainly my windows because I worked hard on that side for a year. So now I'ma just buy a sharge to connect the other ssd to it or get another steam deck
Just do what I did buy a ROG Ally for windows gaming and a Steamdeck for indy games. Great way to go. I lobve my ROG Ally and having windows to set things up with mods and FSR 3 mods etc is a game changer. I know it's not as easy on SD but I am interested to see how starfield runs now with FG. IT's awesome on the ROG at 1080p Ultra.
I wish I could but I'm broke can't afford to get one right now but I am gonna look for other options when I do get the money

@@DfairGaming The hassle of having the ability to dual boot into windows vs making do with just the Steam OS.
@gamble777888 well I didn't want to use steam os like that it's only 3 games I played that doesn't work on windows. Most games work better on windows side and it's easier to mod the games as well.
where did you get that persona 4 background from?
So on steam there is an application called wallpaper engine. Download that it will have so many wallpapers of different things from sports to anime to video games. In the discover section type persona 4 dancing and it will be there. It also have options where you can turn on or off music. Of course I had it off for video purpose but it plays the theme.
