    Thank you for labeling all the flora & fauna. It really makes the hike much more enjoyable. Great photography. None of those artsy-fartsy gimmicks that a lot of people use.

      Glad you enjoyed it! I'm definitely not a fancy girl.
      I do enjoy learning the names of the things I see out there.

    I like the way you identify the plants and animals that you see on the trail. And the fact that you are not a "mileage freak" like some of the other hikers. Great Vlogs to see!!

    You do a fantastic job of videoing your hikes and I appreciate that you label many of the plants, animals, insects, and places along the way.
    I downloaded the app you said you use and now it takes me twice as long to hike because I am always finding new things to identify. Thank you for doing such a great job- I very much enjoy every video you do!

      Thanks so much! Haha, it's fun to learn about the species around us, isn't it? It's like a whole new world opens up.

    What’s it like to be famous 😆. Anytime I see a female stealth camping injury think it’s amazing and so brave. Like I’ve said before any little noise freaks me out. Go you and the views are just stunning. Great video and happy trails. 🤘🏻🥾🏕

      Hahaha I'm hardly famous, but thanks :) I always sleep way better stealth camping than camping around other people. People are the only dangerous things out there. Plus they make noise and snore, haha.

    I'm glad you had a nice day on Franconia Ridge after surviving the wretched Kinsmans.
    I first hiked that ridge during a 2019 section hike and have returned every year since from central CT.
    I plan on hiking it late Sept. this year, immediately followed by hiking the remaining 172 miles of The Long Trail in VT.
    In 2020 I hiked it on the 4th of July. It was very crowded, but fine because the trail is 2 persons wide in many parts.

    I especially like that you don't add music to your hiking videos. It gives a much more realistic impression of the trails you are hiking.

    • @loamseeker5230

      Thanks! Everyone's taste in music is different, so I figure it's easier to leave it out.

    Looks like a tough section with the rock scrambles, but oh what some spectacular views! Do you have a background in plants and animals? You know the name of everything. Take care, happy trails and god bless

      @loamseeker5230  2 роки тому +2

      It was a very tough section! I am just a nature lover, and I like knowing what I'm looking at when I see different things. If you know the name of something, you are more likely to care about it. So I am a lifelong student of nature :)

    I don't understand why New Hampshire is known as the granite state, oh wait.
