No manual is an absolute no-go for me when i'm collecting my grails bro... Me and my best friend who is also a bit of a collector both agree. He got one of his own grails at the weekend which was CiB Pokemon SoulSilver for the Nintendo DS, cost him £200 at Forgotten Worlds! Agreed that the £2.95 delivery charge per item is a bit ridiculous... Not too long ago i ordered all 6 of the Ratchet and Clank games that were released on PS3 and the the total was £84.70 - £17.70 of that was postage!!! I got some more PS3 games delivered at the weekend and also today, i got... -DuckTales Remastered (Grail) - Thankfully CiB -Tales of Graces f -Tales of Xillia (i ordered the standard edition for £15 and CeX accidently sent me the more expensive Day One Edition that costs £30 and comes with outer cardboard box, character artbook and OST CD... That's a win for me lol.) -Tales of Xillia 2 -Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (*Evident by the Tales games that i love my JRPGs*) Next grail on my hit-list is 3D Dot Game Heroes(£70) - It's very retro Zelda-Esque, looks a hell of a lot of fun. Have you ever been to Forgotten Worlds before? Pretty epic retro game store i go to in Stewarton, Kilmarnock... They sell everything from Retro games to Modern games, Japanese/USA imported consoles and games, and Japanese/USA sweets and drinks, and not to forget that they also have an arcade with loads of machines to play too! The guy Allan who runs it is pretty knowledgeable and always a great chat!) - They have a facebook group where they always post all the cool new stuff that comes in, they are even happy to set something aside for you to collect if you message them, they can also post stuff to you too. It is truely a gamers paradise!
Thanks for the support mate. There is so many amazing games you picked up and definitely want them in my collection. I have not been to that store but now you have told me about it, I’ll definitely get there next week when I’m in Glasgow area. I picked up some bangers today so I’ll get a video up for Wednesday with those pick ups👍
@@KIGZRETRO I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your video bro... Love hearing from the perspective of a fellow Scot🏴👌🏻 I'm loving getting into the PS3 again!!! There's so many games I didn't buy and play when I had my original PS3 before regrettably selling it 9(almost 10 years ago) in order to fund buying games for the 8th Gen consoles when they launched.
For me anyway , games need to be complete and in good condition, especially for the more expensive titles, also great PS4 pickup. I still collect for PS4 as there are some amazing games ( Days Gone ) for example
Let’s talk about Manuals. Are you reading them on the toilet or something? Nobody reads manuals. Do you collect for playing or for the ultimate value? The manual doesn’t matter as long as you pay under market value (less then CIB). I could care less about manuals. I am particular about the case, case is a must. Case and original artwork is a must along with the game. As long as I’m paying under market I don’t care. Just stay away from loose discs. Games with case always hold their value but more importantly allow you to get the game cheaper.
Its a great point, I suppose its just down to personal reference. I like knowing that my full collection is complete in box. Loose discs are definitely a no go and nothing worse than a wrecked case. Appreciate the comment and support. What games do you collect?
@@KIGZRETRO PS3 and 360. Definitely collect however you want, but when it comes to rare grails, don’t let a manual hold you back from having something that’s awesome. There’s only so many out there. You can always upgrade to one with a manual in the future if you find one and then sell you no-manual copy. I collect to play. Case and disc is all I need. A good example of this is I recently bought Silent Hill Downpour for PS3. No manual. CIB this is a $70-$80 game. I got it for $55 case and disc only, mint shape. Couldn’t be happier. Saved me $15-$25 for a piece of paper.
I don't know if you have Vinted up there but I really love to buy stuff there. Sometimes is just parents doing big lots for 10 or 15€ and you can get, here and there, really good games in the mix. The packaging tho... I received a game in a literal trash bag just wrapped around it. (It was ok😅😅)
I have actually just bought a few blurays from vintage to be honest. It does look like a great place to find games ect so Ill be looking for some bangers on there.. hopefully they get delivered in better condition than a trash bag 🤣🤣
Just a heads up so you don’t get your cex account restricted or banned. they will only let you return games without manuals a few times. they get funny with serial returners
Just bought a PS3 and some games. The console is so slow at downloading but I'm looking forward to playing my question is just by looking at your PS3 background how do they look all mint. Went to cex last week and 90% of their cases where absolutely disgusting or broken...
I know CeX are shocking sometimes with conditioning lol eBay is probably the best bet for good quality. I seen a game today in CeX and it looked like it had chew marks 😂 how did that get traded in 😂 appreciate the support mate
@@KIGZRETRO your videos are good I enjoy watching it grow I'm definitely on budget so it's nice to see a different perspective where you can throw some money at a collection. @@JackWilliamWait cheers mate, listen collecting on any budget is brilliant. Mordern warfare 2 is a classic game. One of the best. I have never play a final fantasy game, need to give it a try
I collect pretty much exclusively ps4 right now! Super cheap at the moment to collect for !
They are great prices right now mate, hopefully stays that way for a while

I know but I am back 😂
Yakuza: Dead Souls should be on the grail list, £65 from CeX. Zombie spin off that flopped and practically killed the series in the west for a years.
Cheers for the suggestion bud, I will definitely take a look at that. Appreciate the support 👍💪
