Big W Tali. 3 mins in and simply saying sorry, not that a public apology was needed but definitely a big thumbs up. I think i find myself doing that more than I would want to admit, sometimes the brain is just on overdrive and ive been rude not realizing it until after, then have to go back and say "im sorry". it wasn't intentional but it happened. keep up the good work you two.
I would say the public apology was needed. He was rude in public, so he needed to apologise in public. It's a very humbling gesture and extremely mature. Plus if people don't see he is sorry, many people will continue to hold it against him for a long time to come. I seriously applaud Tali for this.
My personal theory is that Dimensius didn't find K'aresh, Dimensius _is_ K'aresh, or rather it's world soul turned into the void equivalent of a titan. Xal's goal isn't to summon Dimensius to eat Azeroth but to turn Azeroth into it's equal. Considering the Ethereals apparently weren't aware of the world soul of their planet, it makes sense they would assume Dimensius just came out of (literally) nowhere, when it may have been the result of long-term corruption of their world soul.
It would be kinda neat if this turned out to be a void-on-void fight. Like Xalatath is just really pissed off at dimensius and just wants a void Azeroth to kick his ass
What if Xalatath was an old god on K’aresh, then when dimensius woke up from K’aresh, he gave her to N’zoth to be put into a dagger. Now she wants revenge on dimensius?
For the personal tabard, you only have to do the questline on one character, then you can buy it on the rest of your characters from the place where you customize it
Man, when Locus Walker talked about how his people heard a similar "radiant song" on K'aresh before Dimensius devoured it, that impacted me way harder than I would have expected. It was a great way to remind the players what the void does & kind of knock us out of "Azeroth is special & untouchable," 'cause K'aresh had the same defenses we do. Edit: small correction Tali, hopefully it helps the video. K'aresh was consumed by a Void Lord, not a Void God. Void Gods are fallen Naaru. Void Lords are the leaders of the void pantheon & much more powerful (ik, the names seem kinda backwards)
Last podcast I was really disappointed with the way Tali treated Evi, so starting this podcast off with a heartfelt, simple apology was a big wave of relief. Kudos to both of you for being such humble, honest people. Much respect.
Yep. It was not immediately obvious (to me), but when I saw the "Broken" it became quite clear (because of their posture that is extremely protoss-like).
1:15:45 i mean.. i can see the arathy being both as voidelves were once high elves (and what high elves still exist, while "neutral", are alliance leaning) so there'd be connections to both
Wait, I love it when you talk about your kids! 💓 Please go on more tangents like these, and basically anything Taliesin & Evitel that's not even related to the game in any way, I love it!❣️
The player alliance/horde conflict was born in the crossroads, astranaar, stranglethorn vale, and hillsbrad. When you are a level 14 orc and a ?? night elf hunter kills the crossroads flightpath and now you can't get back to orgrimmar to get your training. Or when you get camped by a rogue in stranglethorn vale. When a lvl 30 guy doing the yeti cave quest decides to kill you while you're just running back from collecting some human skulls. It's been a long time but I still distinctly remember those. Honestly I need some quests where the old horde heroes (thrall doesn't count, he was also our neutral link) try to get over their old wounds. If blizz can satisfyingly get them to forgive the alliance then maybe I can. Get some closure lmao
Im hype for wow lore in a way i havent been in a long time. I dearly hope that blizz follows through on making the story coherent, conclusive, and accessible. It would be so devastating for alleria and turalyon to "go out with a bang". Sounds amazing
I'd love if Xal'atath and the void were assualting Silvermoon and Alleria and the gang are defending it, they are about to be overrun, with Alleria about to be executed by Xal'atath (like a parallel to Arthas and Sylvanas), BUT THEN!!! Sylvanas comes through a Maw portal and stops her. And helps defend Silvermoon. And that's how she gets her redemption
7:45 bro the true gamer move is just to make a new character to get the achievement with for the sole purpose to be able to pet Taivan as the last thing you do
I think it'd be interesting, when the radiant song actually is a warning cry due to corruption by the Titans and their machines, while Xal'atath and the Void attacking is just coincidentally happening at the same time.
I'm sure I'm setting myself up for disappointment here, but I am under the impression that the Dark Heart quests have only just begun. We're clearly going to be helping Jaina find Magni next, which will likely bring another lore-bomb (imagine if Magni _has_ _not_ been hearing the radiant song that others have been), followed by another quest chain involving Thrall which inevitably ends with the cinematic where he finds Anduin. I'm not expecting these to occur once per week every week, but I am expecting more to come.
The Draenei Heritage Quests were pretty awesome, with little tidbits of history about famous Draenei of the past thrown in. My only complaint was that one quest where you had to collect Fel-tainted bones from animals on Bloodmyst, because for whatever reason the stupid beasties were respawning super slow, and everyone was basically just running around trying to snipe at them as they spawned. And even when you made a kill, it wasn’t always guaranteed to drop a quest item. I was almost late for work that morning because I had spent like a half hour just trying to finish that stupid quest
I remember when Alleria and Turalyons long awaited return in legion, the playerbase was stalwart in that they shoulld be ALLIANCE players. kind of funny how the pendelum has now swung in the opposite direction
You know they have plans for player housing if they’re giving every race a new city hub. It’s absolutely the prerequisites to whatever system(s) they have in mind for player housing.
I don't believe we lose in Midnight, our loss _causes_ Midnight. Obviously something major needs to happen in order for the Titans to return in The Last Titan, but _any_ cosmic power claiming Azeroth will likely do that, or more to the point, any non-Order cosmic power, including her being her own unique meld of all six cosmic powers. Yeah, a bit to Me'dan-y for me too, but with Old Gods, Sargeras' Sword, Titan Engines, Eonar's Life Tree, the Naaru Crystal in Hallowfall _and_ Zovaal's attempt to siphon her, Azeroth has now been interfered with by all six cosmic powers.
Tali's comment about his DK helped me realize why I never have been able to fully level a dk😂 love the class concept and everything but no animations satisfy me
I really hope Bloodmyst and Azuremyst get some love come Midnight, a new Draenei city would be so fucking awesome. I loved Shattrath in WoD, just didn't love how it was utilized.
27:02 most annoying one imo was kul tiran (and zandalari).. they were the longest ones, requiring far more than the rest... pretty sure void elves were easy cuz we were in those zonea when they came out (since they came out before pre-patch for the next expansion)
I made Malfurion make the choice whether or not to let her sister into the barrows. I felt like my main was a human (rp server part elf, can't wait for the likely new pointed ear options, but still not a NE) and so it should not have been up to me. Spoilers: He still lets her put her sister to rest there. I think that's the 'true' ending and a hint at the elves coming together later.
Kudos to you, Tali for the upfront apology to Evi and owning that. Made me uncomfortable last week even just as an observer. Love that you made things right with your wife. Most streamers wouldn't care. Cheers :)
1:15:15 I wouldn't be able to stand Horde Arathi. The Horde already have access to a bunch of Alliance themes (while the Alliance has access to no Horde themes). On top of that, Arathi are just humans but better - imagine having the better humans literally be Horde. Would be the final nail in the coffin for the Alliance.
Everyone saying that Warcraft isn't Warcraft because the two factions aren't fighting, really do not understand what Warcraft is, Just because the Alliance and Horde aren't currently fighting each other, doesn't mean they aren't still fighting. In Wc1-2 were Orcs vs Humans, Wc3 opened the gate to were it was Horde AND Alliance fighting the Legion, and now it is Horde and Alliance Fighting for Azeroth's Worldsoul.
It does feel a bit like when ally characters get the spotlight they are heroes and when horde characters get the spotlight thrall is pickle jesus or we have to sack orgrimmar again
Do you just mean Malfurion? Because he’s about the only alliance character I can think of that has been plot relevant and capable, while not expressly neutral.
@@lelandwhitehead56 not just malfurion, varian, anduin, jaina even genn these all have moments of being like "bad" but are usually justified in there violence and are always redeemed. Horde characters who get the spotlight and go "bad" like garrosh or sylvanas become raid bosses and get sent to super hell and the heroic characters like vol'jin, cairne, or baine get killed impotently or are sidelined as soon as they have a chance to do something more then just kill the last guy
Isn't the whole point of heritage armor is that you're supposed to level the race all the way from scratch to earn it? I'm baffled you're even eligible for the quest with a race change.
1:45:44 broken draenei doesnt make any sense to me, tbh. they're called broken for a reason. they cant walk properly, they drag themselves from a to b. they're disfigured. from a motivation point they have everything going for them to be a demon hunter, but from a ability point of view (as in "are they able to do it?") they are not. becoming a demonhunter is supposed to be this super taxing transformation only the strongest can endure and profit from. broken draenei are already broken and definitly not the strongest. plus, even if they somehow managed to survive the transformation (maybe due to pain-ignorance), how are they supposed to do all those fast and extreme agile movements that is part of the demon hunter fighting style with a broken body? i just dont see it. but then again, wow has done less logical things in the past just to please the rule-of-cool
I think it really depends on what you as a player decided to find out when looking into the games lore. I didn't join the game until shadowlands and i knew who everyone was. I wish I joined during legion but I did my time finding out the lore thru varies ways like playing the game, reading and UA-cam. I rather enjoyed the harbinger quest.
I disagree the reminders were good, they only offered reminders for the recent events in Dragonflight and not for any of the background from Legion and BFA. Why reminders for stuff months ago but not for things 8 years ago?

And what if Xal'atath is just an agent of the Locus-Walker, like Xan-Sallish was for Shadreen?
Ding ding ding
I love this at the beginning! Love the call out and the apology! ❤
For the personal tabard, you only have to do the questline on one character, then you can buy it on the rest of your characters from the place where you customize it

Dragonflight, the gameplay is the best it has been in years, but the stakes have never seemed so low
Locus Walker reminds me of a Virgil in The Inferno--someone who is trying to help Alleria save a world when he could not.
It hit me that Draenei are protoss and krokul are dark Templar and man'ari are the alarak ones (edit: tal'darim. I forgot the name lol)
lightforged are purifiers
Yep. It was not immediately obvious (to me), but when I saw the "Broken" it became quite clear (because of their posture that is extremely protoss-like).

Draenei quest got me excited once again for the possibility of krokul/broken customization options 🤞
Wait, I love it when you talk about your kids! 💓 Please go on more tangents like these, and basically anything Taliesin & Evitel that's not even related to the game in any way, I love it!❣️
Did the tabard on all chars. Different designs and colours to match each chars transmog and identity 😊
The remaining High Elves aren't exactly fond of Blood Elves, Wouldn't the Arathi be horrified of what has become of their old allies?

Let me put it simply, listening to you both makes me happy every time.
Only 30 more episodes before you beat you last Podcast record!
Im hype for wow lore in a way i havent been in a long time. I dearly hope that blizz follows through on making the story coherent, conclusive, and accessible. It would be so devastating for alleria and turalyon to "go out with a bang". Sounds amazing

I love locus walker, i just hope he doesn't get the bolvar treatment where he just sits somewhere for the entire expension

That's why SWTOR does cut scenes the best. Your character is always in them, actually does something instead of carrying the water for the NPC's.

Moonkin has the best running animation hands down
Laser chicken bounce!

Banger episode. Loved it! Cheers you two. 💙
You know they have plans for player housing if they’re giving every race a new city hub. It’s absolutely the prerequisites to whatever system(s) they have in mind for player housing.
Vulpera are foxiest obv!
Where I can find this Alleria Arathor story?
"Our Dreams, our song."
I don't believe we lose in Midnight, our loss _causes_ Midnight. I've wanted Broken for so long and Broken DH sounds awesome!

Sorry I missed you guys live for a few weeks! Will watch later 🎉
Still posting on Spotify? I haven't seen the last 2 episodes on the app :/
Love the show!
Kudos to you, Tali for the upfront apology to Evi and owning that. Made me uncomfortable last week even just as an observer. Love that you made things right with your wife. Most streamers wouldn't care. Cheers :)
if the ethereal planet had a worldsoul, and the world was consumed by the void, does that mean there's a void titan out there somewhere
Am too a fan of memory quests👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
So happy about the harbinger pronunciation. Now... Who's gonna tell Tali he pronounced denouement wrong?
1:15:15 I wouldn't be able to stand Horde Arathi.

My highest priest is 40 and void elf priest is first on my list for panda land
41:30 I was so sad my priest wasn't there along with other memories :( my dagger gf is not thinking about me
Chadus Locus is buff because being eating by void isn't exuse to not hittin a gym
Everyone saying that Warcraft isn't Warcraft because the two factions aren't fighting, really do not understand what Warcraft is, Just because the Alliance and Horde aren't currently fighting each other, doesn't mean they aren't still fighting.

Tali casually drinking from a keg of water.
Maybe war within could the "alliance expansion" then midnight horde/elf exampison then last titen have mix everyone can be happy
maybe im far too bg3-pilled but i'm catching big "The Emperor" vibes from Locus Walker... I do hope I'm wrong but we'll just have to wait and see
Its funny tali talks about putting on the armor when thats the whole goblin one too, which he hasnt done
If Alleria dies and we don’t get a Sylvanus interaction I will throw things
1:06:40 God, I REALLY hate Blizzard quantifying how much time in the Nether versus the real plane. It's so dumb.
If Evi loses the bet she should doa Body typ1 Ethereal, give blizz some inspo for future playable race models
It does feel a bit like when ally characters get the spotlight they are heroes and when horde characters get the spotlight thrall is pickle jesus or we have to sack orgrimmar again

I dont think the arathi will be an allied race, i suspect they will be the enemy after the last titan, emperors and empire are always bad news...
Playable Ethereals for The Last Titan PLEASE HOLLY PLZ
Phil Spencer = X-Box Jeezus
Alleria and Turalyon don't touch- not because of a void/light thing- but because of DRAMA and it's *way* more interesting that way! : D
Evitel: ''Dranei ladies are easily the foxiest ladies in wow''
Vulpera: ''are we a joke to you?''
I'm listening and producing music.
Could turn your voices into an instrument.
With a word harbringer.
marriage goals
Let Unwrap this... story
(naked etherials could be draeney females!)
Isn't the whole point of heritage armor is that you're supposed to level the race all the way from scratch to earn it?
I'm baffled you're even eligible for the quest with a race change.
The only races with the level up requirement were the Allied Races.
The old races never had a level requirement .
You named him what? And your worried about his tomato pronunciation? I think kids will be too busy teasing his name to notice.
Sorry evitel …. But clearly the foxiest ladies in WoW are the Vulpera! Draenei don’t even have the right ears or tail!
Sick of the ‘faction’ bs… hard core Horde/Alliance folks need to find something else to care about.
the harbinger quest was a huge fail imo, unless you played legion you have no idea who anyone is and the mob taging makes the quest miserable.
I think it really depends on what you as a player decided to find out when looking into the games lore. I didn't join the game until shadowlands and i knew who everyone was.
