Fascinating! The epiphytes tend to grow quite easily in sheltered spaces outdoors here in southern Tasmania despite our cool winters but I'm aiming for some indoor curtains especially with the 'grassy' rhipsalis. The D. 'macrantha' flowers look beautiful and I can't wait to smell them after hearing your description.
Good video. Do you use peroxide straight, or diluted? Hang in there, I have had 2 plants that took 10 years to bloom. A cooler moister climate probably would have sped it up. Also, I erred on the side of bigger pots where smaller ones like you use would help stress them into blooming.

Hi Leland, I used 3% hydrogen peroxide.
where did you get your white hanging containers from? they look very nice!
Hi, I get them in cases from: www.growerssolution.com/page/GS/CTGY/HangingBaskets
@@EpiphyticCacti thank you
No problem, it’s really difficult to find white hanging baskets! 💚🌱
Great vid! What is that plant in the very beginning with the wide dark green pendulum-like leaves?
If you are talking about the plant in the background on the left it is a complex paphiopedilum hybrid.
Do they get sunstressed ?
They can, just like any other cacti if they are genetically capable of producing betalains that might be distributed to the branches.
