I have been taking the NYC subway system for 20 years now. THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. Some stops are worse than others. All MTA does is raise the fare, give themselves raises, and put up a computer that tells you when the next train is coming and call it "cutting edge" technology. Unfortunately something is going to have to collapse and seriously injure passengers for the MTA/NYC to do something.
Ive read about the miles and depths kf tumnels below NYC, surely they'd guggle bluggle fill with all this incoming, some live down there, has all this space now become submerged..... ¿?
@@suzyqualcast6269 There are pumps and drains installed all throughout those tunnels, but they get overwhelmed in heavy rain storms like this one. Guggle bluggle was the name of the tune this day.

I would definitely either call an uber to take me where to go, or check into a good hotel for a day, rather than get in that subway water. That is absolutely crazy to me. If it was the end of the world, I can understand having to swim through it, but other than that, definitely not.
Mayor Deblasio did a great job with the city. Hopefully all the hundreds of millions of dollars he invested in bike lanes clears up all that flooding. Lol 😆

That roadway flooding is nothing. Even the UAE streets floor deeper than that when it rains and it's hilarious watching the locals trying to drive around in it. So much fun in a 4x4 🚙😁

I lived in NYC for 20 years and have never seen the subway that bad.
