Huntly Pipe Band playing Braes of Killiecrankie during 2023 Oldmeldrum Highland Games in Scotland

Huntly & District Pipe Band, led by Drum Major Derek Dean and Pipe Major Ian Stuart, entertaining visitors to the 2023 Oldmeldrum Sports and Highland Games. These were held on Saturday 17th June 2023 at Oldmeldrum in Aberdeenshire, Scotland and the band were playing "Braes of Killiecrankie", "Bonny Lass O’ Fyvie", "Rose of Allendale", "The Fair Swan", "Scarce O’ Tatties" and finally "Rocking The baby".
Huntly and District Pipe Band are a recreational band, formed in 1948 by Gordon Highlanders returning home from service in WWII, and the Gordon tartan is synonymous with the Huntly and District Pipe Band, having been devised by Forsythes of Huntly.
