Accent. I know for you americans mainly dialect is particularism of accents a dvariations. But in Europe dialects, especially in latin countries are regional languages, separated from the official languages Some are older though you can find a connection here and there. I can say " Siamo tutti alla casa di nonno, e quando sarai arrivato, vai cercare a mangiare per mezzo giorno. But i can say too : Siem tui a majun de paigran e cora seras arribat, vas serca a mangia per miegiu. Its not just an alternative accent. Its a whole other language.

What about Motorhead and Saxon,Gillan, Rory Gallgher, Early Def Leppard? Black Sabbath were reborn with the Heaven and Hell album with Ronnie doing a magnificent job on vocals, they were heavy as fuck so sorry like but Sabbath were fuckin mint after Never Say Die, they just battled on and were totally successful. Not all NWOBHM bands wore spandex and if a few of them did so what. Maiden wore them with Paul Dianno in the band ffs! When MTV came into the fold and destroyed Heavy Metal etc that was the end of the whole class of old school Heavy Metal, then it was all big hair and fucking videos to sell to the mainstream wankers! Late 70's and early 80's rock was mint, not forgetting AC/DC aswell who were heavy as fuck n al.

I agree with you about his playing, too clean and it lacks feeling. I don't know about your opinion about the whole Venom vs. Venom Inc. feud, but I think it's a pity that there seems to be so much bitterness. I love Cronos and will keep on buying his Venom's records but actually I'm also quite excited about Venom Inc. releasing new music (plus they also seem to be good live and I'll hopefully get to see them this year, while there seems to be no chance of me catching the other Venom live anywhere near me). I'd just wish they'd live and let live, and especially someone like Rage (who IMHO isn't fit to hold a candle to Mantas, and many see him and Dante more like hired hands than proper members of Venom) shouldn't join in and talk down they guys in Venom Inc.
