Thank you very much. I worked hard on coming up with a new approach that would help astrophotographers. By attacking this from a new dimension... the technique offers a chance to grow in other ways beyond its initial form.
Excellent video Adam. I love how you talk through each step in detail and clearly explain what's going on (better than some videos which say "whack these settings in because they work good for me"). Having the short step by step text at the end is a great reference to use once you understand the procedure.
I know im randomly asking but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Duncan Beckham thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you. This is the kind of thing I work hard at. Not only do I try to explain to the best of my abilities...but I am also trying to create *new* techniques and be astrophotographic innovator. :)
Holy cow are you good! Now for us visual learning artistic (lazy) folks, can these steps be included in an expanded Starnet++? Star shrinking without artifacts is super important... Also, some of us folks with good low-noise OSC cameras like the new ZWO2600 MC (that dither every frame and keep the image train clean) need a workflow for just decent-quality subs and no calibration frames. And a simple guide for organizing those images for the less organized type like me.
Starnet++ is written by a very smart developer (nothing to do with me). Concerning image processing in general, you are welcome to see my instructional tutorials at AdamBlockStudios.com . FastTrack Training in particular might be of interest.
hello adam, nice video thank you for sharing. it could be the light but it appears you have a prominence over your thyroid area. I could be seeing things but might be worthwhile getting a quick check or ultrasound by a doctor. kind regards
The scariest thing I have seen on the internet today. This is one of my first "on camera" videos...and first comment... "nice video... you should see a doctor!"
do your lessons come on DVD or downloadable once signed up? im looking at Funds then Horizons... do new customers get continued updates as you put out new content or is it a one time group of videos?
Thanks for the question. Yes, there is a download option. The collection of videos is so large I could not fit them on DVDs even if I wanted to. :) As a member of AdamBlockStudios (of a collection), you get access to all of the content and anything I add to it. Members of Fundamentals have forever access. Horizons does have a small annual fee to continue membership and see on-going future videos. However, I deferred it this year due to the craziness of the world right now.
@@AdamBlock Wish I could but because of covid and I work for the airlines been out of work since March 20th and now I just took a retirement package soooo things are a little tight right now. So I will just slug away and try to do as much as i can and pick up things here and there. But thanks for the videos there great
hands down the best star reduction technique ever

Thank you for this great video, Adam. I've been struggling with stars and I'm looking forward to giving this a go.

@Jacob Roman Glad I could help :)
Great walkthrough and superb detail in explaining things! This is a very controlled method of reducing star size.

Thanks for that. I was just starting star minimizing with MorphologicalTransformation but this seems indeed much more powerfull

@@AdamBlock perfect ..
This makes me wonder if there is a content aware mask that could be made in the even that flats were not able to be taken for whatever reason...
Wish I knew 1/8 of what you know about pix
You can know 7/8 of what I know if you become a member of AdamBlockStudios.com ! :)
