@@chrolka6255 I feel like OP was just being ignorant tbh haha. In French overseas territories the accent is pretty easy to understand. It's not THAT different from mainland France to the point of not being easily understood
my wife, my spouse my love who I share my entire life with, she does not get upset when I am ALWAYS watching series in English and even movies in English in the living room, she does not ever complain, and believe me, she complains a lot about other aspects of my life hahah but never related to my entirely focused English language and subtitles on the series and movies I watch, and sometimes she just stands by my side whilst I am watching English movies with English subtitles, and she never ever would complain as the OP did, I mean what a completely rampart obnoxious friend.
