This is a compilation of the amazing visuals you can get by looking inland from the east coast of Florida on a typical summer evening. This is a view from Melbourne, FL looking towards Orlando on Monday, June 22, 2020. Collisions of the east and west coast sea breezes caused severe thunderstorms to explode up the spine of the peninsula that evening putting on an amazing light show of frequent cloud-to-ground bolts and horizontally branching spider lightning!
