I adore your unique sounds and flavorful colors. I got into my career of orchestral flute playing because of you, Yanni. You inspired a young Chicano boy to pursue a long life passion in music. The video that inspired me was your Acropolis Concert. This is the initial point of sound that inspired me. Later when I bought one your CDs, some of the selected music from this concert came with it. Pedro Eustache further inspired me when I was facing a negative music teacher. I used even transcribe Pedro’s flute solos so I could even play them. I sent an email to Pedro many years ago and he encouraged me to continue to pursue music out of love and dedication. I had even wanted to perform with you someday. Your music also inspired me to become a composer. My largest orchestral work is being premiered next year; Requiem Sinfónica. Thank you for continuing to provide me with enjoyable music and cast of musical artists that continue to inspire us to be great.
