The world needs Yanni right now. I knew people young and old, grunge fans to country fans, who were Yanni fans in the 90s. He and his band made some really unique music that was universally appealing. They all seemed to have a lot of fun making their music too.

I am not far behind you. Some may disagree, but to me Yanni's music is unique and touchy to our hearts/souls
I watch your concerts almost daily. I can't seem to get enough. Every time I hear a soloist from Ming, to Ramon to Charlie to Karen Briggs I am convinced that your have an orchestra of musical geniuses. I was fortunate enough to see you in 1998 at the Palace of Auburn Hills in Michigan. I'll never forget the experience. So special!! You're the best!!!

He knows how to control his musicians. His feelings with that music make the music amazing.
Control wouldn’t be the word to choose. His orchestrators who wrote out the orchestral version of his electronic music did a lot of the texturizing (with...I’m assuming Maestro Yanni) of the instrumentation in the orchestra. There are, of course, improvised layers played by several soloists in the orchestra. I believe the word you were searching for is orchestration.

I can't believe I never commented on this video. There he his with that smile, and sexy eyes and his moves are driving me into this so deep. This performance is one of his best. Love it when he runs out on stage. What a GREEK GOD.... OH my... The orchestra sounds fabulous and looks great! These were the days we all fell in love with Yanni and his family! He's loving every minute of showing his emotions. He was happy then and not sad. I hope he can regain that happiness again one day. He needs to feel peace in his heart. I will always love him and what he does to my soul. Nice to see his genuine happiness here. I guess we all had that when we were young. Be well dear Yanni. 💙🙏🏻🙏🏻💙. 🌈🌈🌈

Well...here I am again. I'm reminiscing some of your older concerts. I love, love the opening of this one especially. Very mystical, and yes, desirable. You and the complete orchestra were totally AMAZING Yanni. What does one say after listening over and over, day after day? The conclusion is that all of your people cannot live a fulfilled life without you in it. You are a master musician, composer, and mentor through emotions in music. They need to create a new word in the dictionary for you. All the descriptive words have been used. I find that I would much rather watch you live like this, than just the music alone. There's something in your facial expressions, as well as your movements that complete your journeys. We must see you to complete the image. Thank you Yanni for all your talents and giving us so much of your personal time, as well. Whoooo...Bless you and your captivating, boundless life of music spread all around the world. I will never forget how much you have touched my heart. Love you always dear Yanni. 💜🙏🏻💕

years ago when my older sister learned that i loved Yanni's music, she was astounded- she thought I was just this heavy metal rocker (which i was, and still am)... but goodness, listen to it... how could anybody that has any appreciation of music not be just blown away by his music....???

You're not alone. My obsession with Yanni's music began with my love for strings. First it was guitar, then violin. Then I developed a new obsession. A female playing violin gets my attention over almost anything, so when I saw Mary Simpson, I was captivated, to say the least. I had already discovered Yanni several years before, but she lit a fire. From there, although I've never been into brass and woodwinds, Pedro's skill was like nothing I had ever seen/heard. One by one I realized what I had been missing for so many years. I was amazed to discover there was so much talent on so many instruments. I mean, from the screaming guitars of Maiden and Priest to Victor Espinola! But when I realized what Samvel Yervinyan could do with a violin ... From there, I was "all in." I still love heavy metal. In fact, I have plenty on my phone to listen to while I work, but I have more Yanni. I saw him live for the first time about 3 months ago in Dallas, Texas, not too far from where I saw Black Sabbath last year.
