How To Get An A-5 Blade On And Off The Clippers (And Fix A Common Problem!)
Вставка

- Quick demo and explanation of taking an A-5 blade on and off the clippers. I have an Andis 5-speed, but this works on any clippers that take the A-5 style blades.
Watch closely, because if that little tab gets pushed down without the blade on there, it's hard to get back up and is a commonly puzzling problem!

This video was very helpful,Thank you! Good clear visuals. The metal “seating” piece on my brand new clippers was mashed down so I used a flathead screwdriver as you suggested to pop it back into place.
😊
Wonderful video. The video was well done
Thank you so much. My tab was pressed down and I didn’t know why the blades wouldn’t stay on.
Glad to hear! 🐶👍🎉
In my world, (professional barber 15 years) we say “ON-ON/OFF-either”. Meaning when you put a detachable blade on the machine should be running. Taking it off, can be either on or off. I actually groom one of my dogs with one of my old Oster 76 machines. Our version doesn’t have the little button you showed, so that may change things .
I typically don’t take the blade off while the clippers are on. I feel like I would cut my thumb doing that! But it is generally better to put the blade on while the clippers are on, simply because there’s a part on there that will not allow it to snap down all the way unless it’s aligned properly. So snapping it down while it’s off is the luck of the draw whether it will work. All that to say, it sounds like the “rules” are indeed different depending on the tool.
I just received the Easy Clipper , and the blade is difficult to take off . Almost like it’s stuck on everytime I try . I’m a barber, so that would slow me down tremendously. Any tips would be appreciated
