I've spent 3 weeks trying to connect my AirPods--number 5 solved the problem. Thank you do much. I don't. know if it will charge but it is now connected to my phone. Yeah! One step at a time. I will come back and listen to another episode if it doesn't charge.

OH MY GOD MY AIRPOD CHARGING,TYSMMMMM 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
easy fix, use electric contac cleaner and a cotton tip(swab). try to get a small metallic clip (paper clip)or a metallic needle and press the bottom contact on the case as many times as need it. I use WD40 too for loose contact in the case.
god bless, had a big ass lint in the charging port, removed it put the charging cable in and it fit perfectly and now it's finally working (it fitted weird before which I noticed but didn't think much of)

My case is charging but not the pods
I want to fix my AirPods lightning port not about the charging but the lightning port I see it’s very broken
I got the lint out by now my airpods wont charge unless the case is plugged in and the light wont show up
My case is at 5% it says it’s charging and it’s plugged in but it’s not one of my AirPods is at 6% and it won’t charge it’s always barely charged for some reason and my other one was literally two seconds ago CHARGING BUT GOING DOWN INSTEAD and it went from 23% to 99% in a few seconds like HOW. Edit: my airpod case and AirPods are clean I just cleaned it a week ago EDIT AGAIN: IT WAS AT 99% A SECOND AGO NOW ITS AT 30% I SWEAR ITS CHARGING I NEED FO RETURN THESE

Try to charge with another charger, if it's still not working then the problem is in charging port, you can clean it or replacing it.

Well i just bought a new wireless headphones and one of the Airpod is charge and work normal , but the other one is not charging and not anything
the normal one is flash color lights and when u chage it the flash turn to red means it charging

Try another charger, if it's still not working then clean the charging port or replace it.

Did you check the charging contact points on both the AirPods and in the case to make sure they are clean? Another thing you could try, if you have another set of AirPods from a friend or family member try putting theirs in your case to see if their will charge. Then, at least, you'll know if it's the AirPods or your case that is faulty.
The case itself is always at 5% but the earpods charge but they die quickly. Planning to return them
