...I shot my first 3-D shoot this March after a 48 year hiatus from archery, I'm 68 years old. The fun, excitement, laughs and enjoyment factors were right up there with my first trip to Space Mountain at Disney World in 1975. What a ton of fun...Great video guys...

It is loads of fun for sure. We're still "Newbs" ... we just started in late February so we've got a lot to learn. Also we shoot traditional style without scopes or other devices to assist with the shot...anyway, we appreciate your support and glad we have something in common with Craig and your sons.

It's been a helluva fun ride since we picked up this hobby a couple of months ago. We shoot "traditional", meaning old fashioned bow without scopes or other fancy stuff. You have to rely solely on your skills which take time to develop. This would be right up your alley I think!
You guys pretty much wiped the place clean! Any live animals would have to be crazy to come close! Bonecrusher is a regular Robin Hood! :) Nice video!

Very good archery session. Ive never seen targets like those before anywhere. This was a treat. I used to be in our 4-h archery club back in the day, and we only got targets with stacks of hay.....how much has changed in 30 years. I had to rewatch the last few seconds a couple times. Trying to see what kind of target that was...a gnome?
You should get back into it! We're having a lot of fun with it. We shoot in the backyard and have set up our own little 3D range. We were on the African Range but, in addition to African animals they also had dinosaurs and some bears...(there was even a Polar Bear, what?? I didn't know they had them in Africa). The last target was a little brown bear. The cool part about that last shot was that it was the 50th and LAST target of the day and the ONLY time there were people behind us watching us shoot. So we were a bit nervous. When you see Lisa hit that target she was really relieved, as was I - I shot right before her and also hit it. It was a drop the mike and walk away moment for sure.

Hey thanks so much man! This archery tour travels around the target to different towns. I think they go to California too so you can always check it out if you want in a town near you. So did you do the campground video yet? I REALLY want to see that. We've been way behind on watching videos so we may need to catch up.

It's basically like golf, yes. LOL. You keep track of your score based on how close you are to the center circle. Then there are prizes for the best overall shooters. We just started this hobby back in February. Neither of us are hunters either but it's given us a whole added dimension of activities to pursue. Thanks as always for your support, fellas!

Did you guys not read the sign that they had clearly posted? It said no dinosaur hunting allowed. Especially T-Rex! You can't just be going hog wild hunting dinosaurs in posted areas. Where did you think you were? Jurassic Park or something? Your lucky you didn't get busted! It looked like a whole lot of fun guys. Thanks for sharing.
Haha, we will be more careful to read the posted placards next time! :-) It was a lot of fun - we're brand new at this so it was intimidating to be there with all these great shooters with great gear and stuff. We're just putting ourselves out there into something new and embracing it in our own way. Good to see you again Casey!
Hay Otter, Tell Bone crusher that I would never know that she had her accident with how she took Rex down. Bad to the bone brother! Glad to see that you guys were having so much fun. That is what it's all about. Who cares about the fanatics and their compensatory equipment that causes them to think that they have bigger pieces than they are actually sporting. They might just as well get cross bows and take all the fun out of it. I appreciate you sharing this. I had a lot of fun watching guys!
