This is the best breakdown of rig tuning and sail controls I've ever seen for the H16. Thank you for recording and sharing this amazing knowledge and experience.
That really explains a lot about cat sailing and especially the 16. I never thought much about mast rotation and how it effects the bend and leech shape. Thanks so much!
I’d never heard it called “exhaust” before, good way to describe it. And I also never knew the old sails are actually a different shape than new ones, I just thought they were a different material. Thanks for sharing

Thanks Joe for bringing that to us. Awesome.
A lot of good points in there
What a helpful video! Thanks! Could you do a video on a hobie getaway tips and tricks?
I don't have a Getaway here but I could do something similar for the Hobie 15 - the closest relative that we have here.

At the 7:00 mark, he talks about "Nipping off some rotation of the mast using caps on the mast step". Have you ever seen what these "caps" look like?
I never saw them, it must be an old school american thing.
Next video sailing upwind with the rudders up?
Hopefully there'll be some footage from the worlds to check that out.
In love my life hero William 😘😘
Mine too!

He says the range of the jib halyard is 300. 300 what?

Hi Joe, when will William be in SA again?
I would guess at the end of September
