Very clear and interesting talk. I liked the example of the serious meditators who were less happy than the people who gave the food in the mornings. Very insightful talk, thank you

Well, meditation alone might be very dry, but in my experience intense practise opens up to all the other qualities like generosity, virtue andcompassion. It automatically develops parallel.

I do understand and agree that studying different traditions can be very confusing. I've find myself comparing notes. It is exactly what you said; it is like trying to learn how to speak 3 different languages at once.... one pointed attention is important here...it's like multi tasking. You end up only learn bits and pieces when you take on too much.

Regarding to animals, the utilitarian theory in which we are deeply indoctrinated is called Animal Welfare. It states that it is ok to use animals as resources, as long as we focus on how we treat them. The theory called «Animal Rights», opposed to the utilitarian and welfarist one, states that all sentient beings deserve the right to not be enslaved, regardless of species, color skin, sex... The debate is not in discussing how we should exploit animals, but why do we keep thinking of them as our property. Do they belong to us? For more info, I suggest watching the short documentary on Animal Rights (24 min, non-graphic) - ua-cam.com/video/QP8rCeu9AbM/v-deo.html
    Thank you 🙏🏻🍀

A whole lot of people are attempting deliberate creation with a whole lot of lip service. Because anything that’s not backed up with vibration is empty. So if your vibration were really in the place you want it to be, no one could deliver to you an empty promise! The only way an empty promise can be delivered to you is if it matches the vibration that you got going on. So, who’s the perpetrator of the empty promise? Is it the other person who’s just giving you what you got going on? Abraham Hicks,
    Boundless Metta!! =)

+AUSPICIOUS KONDOR What the heck is this "vibration" since it is not in Buddhism. Sounds a lot like new-age nonsense to me but you did not define what it means.
