With some edging either way. Yanfei studies the law in search of freedom from it; despite being principled she holds no illusions about the sanctity of a legal code. It's just that you cannot ethically either break the laws or argue for their rewriting without first thoroughly understanding both why they exist and how they work in practice. And you cannot understand what a law really means simply from reading it: context and standardized interpretation becomes everything. I've had less experience so far to study Sparkle, but regardless of whether she personally follows rules she seems to cherish them as providing needed structure and meaning. Lacking a game there is limited scope for play. And presuming she is not a sufficiently skilled actress that all of her limits are deliberate, I seem to have seen her repeatedly frustrated by being unwilling to violate the character of somebody she's currently playing in order to do what she actually wants. (Provided all her slips were deliberate, well, that's another approach to the same point.)
This trailer makes me very wary of her, because to follow the Elation means to laugh and find joy in everything whether it be your enemies demise or even your friend's hardships. So, I don't really know if she would be a friend or foe, or even just ally with us just to betray us or be our enemy just to end up helping us. She is so unpredictable, and I love that about her.
There is a voiceline of her saying something along the line of you should be careful in the future like the next time we come across each other implying that she doesn't mind screwing us over at all if it's fun for her

I'm thinking Aha is the red mask. There is other imagery that directly likes to Aha; for example the giant mask that Sparkle is sitting on at 3:40, which looks exactly like one of the masks in Aha's in-game splash art. Red mask Sparkle got White mask Sparkle to shoot her in the head, and afterwards she had the half-red half-white mask that the sparkle we get in the game wears. I believe the white mask Sparkle represents the human, and the red mask Sparkle represents the Aeon. The Sparkle with the completely red mask is the most unhinged, so I would speculate like others have that the level of Aha's influence is represented by the amount of red on the mask. The half-red half-white would suggest a merger... No doubt having the Elation cune one's brain would drive any mortal utterly insane.
White pulling the trigger held to Red's head was the 5th blank. Then after all the acid trip, it goes to her ult, then back to White being held in Red's palm and the sixth shot finally goes, hitting White, then the mask falls in the water and goes half and half. Think the Roulette is a representation of the first shot being White challenging Aha to their game, then Aha taking 4 shots as representation of guiding and breaking her down to fully commit to Elation, then White being forced to use the final chamber, kills her past self that had hesitation and accepted Aha completely, leading to the dual color mask of their minds working together instead of in conflict. Really wanna know what crazy persona is behind the black mask that is in her ult tho...

The idea that Sparkle is actually the mask is compatible with my idea that the character Sparkle hid behind the mask enough times (at least 990) that she lost her sense of self and can't figure out who she is. What probably happened is she became attached to the mask, and then the mask began to react to her before eventually taking on a life of its own. Eventually, the Sparkle behind the mask, all 990 versions of her, took over, leaving the body as a vessel for whoever she wants to pretend to be. That way, she can craft any narrative she wants and have it play out in real life with her actually taking on the role of whatever the story needs at the time, in the case of Penacony's story she's literally a side character that shows up to urge the main characters onward (either through deception or outright murder), while in Black Swan's companion quest she played the part of the victim of several different murders but wasn't actually involved in any of them. Notice the theme of Monodrama, the many different clones of her. Those are the many versions of Sparkle, and they're all disposable. To her, ending someone's life (including her own) is no different to shooting confetti out of a gun. That's the path of Elation, finding the joy in absolutely everything, even things that would horrify and disgust other people.

@@medojed8266 ehhh, Dottore is definitely clinically insane in that he's a monstrous person with no real limits on the cruel things he would do in order to watch an interesting experiment, but he's a sociopath not just a loose canon. Everything he does is calculated and precise, done with reason and intention and not just on a whim. Sparkle seems the complete opposite, reveling in chaos and elation with no specific plan or intent in mind other than just enjoying chaos itself, and that couldn't be any more different than Dottore in almost every way looking at them in comparison to each other.
Huo huo also got triple videos. 1 myriad, 1 animated and 1 actual trailer. Can't say for sure but i feel like they put in more effort into these less popular characters because more attractive characters are coming next and they just wanna entice people into pulling. Most people probably skipped huo huo for argenti or ruan mei and it seems like many were skipping sparkle for acheron at least until they saw her trailer

Well, everyone , the whole community, loves Sparkle! The reason she is Hoyo's favorite and showering her with all love. She got a lot of budget from the devs. They'll make more content for her. Also, being a super meta character, everyone is pulling for her and no one wants to miss out on her.
She might get extra treatment cause she's an emanater, like how archons and herrschers get extra treatment in genshin and hi3. So Acheron who's confirmed emanater is probably gonna get great treatment too.
Ok guys, hear me out, maybe, just maybe, white mask was the frd we made along the way. So anw, I believe like everyone else that the white mask indicates Sparkle as the person, n the red mask is the persona of Sparkle, the Fool. At the beginning the red mask(RM) asked the white mask(WM) if she wanted to wager her life basically. And WM played along, taking the first shot acting all brave n crazy, but when RM took the gun, she just shot all 4 shots at herself. Then RM proceeded to say WM is foolish for acting like she knows it all, but RM is the actual Fool, the Jester who knows everything but act dumb. So when RM handed the gun back to WM, WM was all flustered n it showed how she rlly was, just swept along w RM. Then the reveal dropped, either indicating that RM is the actual AHA, or just AHA's influence on Sparkle. And only at the end did the white + red mask appear, but I think it was always just a trick by RM to make it seems like WM was somewhat in control, but in fact it never was. There could probably be something abt split personality disorder too, but it s still kinda vague. Maybe everytime she transform a part of WM just splits away, n RM assimilate it into herself, or maybe just kill those parts. Because towards the end, the part when she ulted, we saw that it was WM who killed herself, maybe the whole thing was a play by RM to make WM kill herself again. They cooked hard w these trailers, fingers crossed that Sparkle n the story will deliver, because Im so hyped rn.
Sparkle has, no joke, added the MOST diversity to the cast of Star Rail by being an unabashed piece of shit. She's not like the Stellaron Hunters who were made to feel like they might be good guys doing bad things for good reasons, She's not the Garden of Recollection that love to sit in the background and just vibe and observe, she DEFINITELY not like the nameless who go out of their way to help people in need where they happen to trailblaze to next, she's not structured like Belobog, not rough and tumble like the Underworld, she isn't fighting against or upholding traditions like the Xian Zhou, She is PURE UNADULTERATED chaos. Also, to be fair, I do appreciate that some of the worst character traits we've seen to date in Star Rail appear in Sparkle who is an antagonist so far. You know it's writing doing its job when you hate a character's action and words when they're SUPPOSE to be a shit person. Love Sparkle as a character 10/10 favorite antagonist of Star Rail so far~

My theory is that sparkle had finally hit her final final breaking point while being in penacony and decided to kill her past selves and wanting to kill the original sparkle the final white mask and as seen when red sparkle was shooting herself she was prepared almost as she knew she wont be the one kill but white sparkle who took the first shot was surprise in a sense and you can see both sparkles communicating with eachother red explaining their purpose and elation and white sparkle being the morality in the end white sparkle dies but not trully dead because the original is sparkle's body and so the white splits in half red and white so some of sparkles morality and insaneness still show, being honest how insane did sparkle truly went when she was shown screentime? Probably will be seen in the 2 half but she was quite tame But before you say you can fix her.... no you cant she has gone to the point that she is okay with killing herself and laughing about it and i would know as that happened to me not long ago so i would consider she has lost it fully

Had to rewatch the ‘Monodrama’ trailer multiple times to figure out what the deal was with the plot (and also because it’s good): Red Mask Sparkle was out murdering…..Sparkle. Like lots of them. Then challenges White Mask Sparkle to Russian Roulette. White fires just one blank round at herself. After, Red goes full Jerome Valeska and fires the next 4 blanks at herself. Freaky psychedelic shit hits the fan and White is forced by Red to fire the last live round at herself. I still don’t get why White’s mask turns into the ‘real’ Sparkle but Red is still sticking around. What’s the inside joke there yall?

Dottore is having fun with his research with no restrictions, if he was in HSR verse, he'll either be in the Genius Society or the Masked Fools, or worse both
@@medojed8266 ehhh, Dottore is definitely clinically insane in that he's a monstrous person with no real limits on the cruel things he would do in order to watch an interesting experiment, but he's a sociopath not just a loose canon.
Everything he does is calculated and precise, done with reason and intention and not just on a whim.
Sparkle seems the complete opposite, reveling in chaos and elation with no specific plan or intent in mind other than just enjoying chaos itself, and that couldn't be any more different than Dottore in almost every way looking at them in comparison to each other.

Ok guys, hear me out, maybe, just maybe, white mask was the frd we made along the way.
So anw, I believe like everyone else that the white mask indicates Sparkle as the person, n the red mask is the persona of Sparkle, the Fool. At the beginning the red mask(RM) asked the white mask(WM) if she wanted to wager her life basically. And WM played along, taking the first shot acting all brave n crazy, but when RM took the gun, she just shot all 4 shots at herself. Then RM proceeded to say WM is foolish for acting like she knows it all, but RM is the actual Fool, the Jester who knows everything but act dumb. So when RM handed the gun back to WM, WM was all flustered n it showed how she rlly was, just swept along w RM. Then the reveal dropped, either indicating that RM is the actual AHA, or just AHA's influence on Sparkle. And only at the end did the white + red mask appear, but I think it was always just a trick by RM to make it seems like WM was somewhat in control, but in fact it never was.
There could probably be something abt split personality disorder too, but it s still kinda vague. Maybe everytime she transform a part of WM just splits away, n RM assimilate it into herself, or maybe just kill those parts. Because towards the end, the part when she ulted, we saw that it was WM who killed herself, maybe the whole thing was a play by RM to make WM kill herself again.
They cooked hard w these trailers, fingers crossed that Sparkle n the story will deliver, because Im so hyped rn.
Sparkle has, no joke, added the MOST diversity to the cast of Star Rail by being an unabashed piece of shit. She's not like the Stellaron Hunters who were made to feel like they might be good guys doing bad things for good reasons, She's not the Garden of Recollection that love to sit in the background and just vibe and observe, she DEFINITELY not like the nameless who go out of their way to help people in need where they happen to trailblaze to next, she's not structured like Belobog, not rough and tumble like the Underworld, she isn't fighting against or upholding traditions like the Xian Zhou, She is PURE UNADULTERATED chaos. Also, to be fair, I do appreciate that some of the worst character traits we've seen to date in Star Rail appear in Sparkle who is an antagonist so far. You know it's writing doing its job when you hate a character's action and words when they're SUPPOSE to be a shit person. Love Sparkle as a character 10/10 favorite antagonist of Star Rail so far~

My theory is that sparkle had finally hit her final final breaking point while being in penacony and decided to kill her past selves and wanting to kill the original sparkle the final white mask and as seen when red sparkle was shooting herself she was prepared almost as she knew she wont be the one kill but white sparkle who took the first shot was surprise in a sense and you can see both sparkles communicating with eachother red explaining their purpose and elation and white sparkle being the morality in the end white sparkle dies but not trully dead because the original is sparkle's body and so the white splits in half red and white so some of sparkles morality and insaneness still show, being honest how insane did sparkle truly went when she was shown screentime? Probably will be seen in the 2 half but she was quite tame
But before you say you can fix her.... no you cant she has gone to the point that she is okay with killing herself and laughing about it and i would know as that happened to me not long ago so i would consider she has lost it fully
