I have tons of nostalgia for the early 2000s! Last year my 30th birthday was 2000s themed. That’s when prime Disney channel was, and cds and the invention of the iPod. Not to mention MySpace! I’m so thankful for when I grew up
Hello Christy and anyone that may be reading! Could you please consider doing an episode with Angus T. Jones? He has been outspoken about how he wishes he wasn’t on Two and a Half Men as a child and teen actor. If it’s something you’re both open to, it would be amazing to hear him speak vulnerably about what his experience was like being on the show and how it may have affected his brain health then and now! Thank you for such an amazing podcast! This episode was great as always. Loved the relatable talk on nostalgia and the fact that Myles vets his jokes with his wife for the perspective of a woman. Taylor Tomlinson is hilarious and open about her mental health during her comedy. I agree that she’d be an incredible guest too! Drybar is great! I honestly laugh even more with the drybar comedies I’ve seen than with most of the standup from very famous comedians. Thank you for reading my message and for the amazing advocacy work you do for child actors and mental health. I love you! ❤❤❤
I'm 37 & lived a few lives. Nostalgia is my super power! It has helped me heal from 4 family passings! The loss of 2 friends! And a Near death experience that left me handi-capable! Don't dare try to shame me for my comfort food of a better time as I survive the current moment! It's my medicine & a warm teddy bear to clutch when the night is cold! Long live the better memories! ❤️💯!!
I don’t think I ever got an answer on why Gen Y got the moniker “millennial” since it stops at ‘96. Gen Z would be at the turn of the millennium. Mae Martin is another underrated comedian. I really enjoyed their special on Netflix
I think I'm starting to get nostalgia for the early 2000s a little bit more than the 90s and it's probably because of stuff I consumed back then like Radio Disney, the internet before all the social media stuff exploded, Rollercoaster Tycoon...
I find "blocking", "unfollowing", and like/❤'ing to each serve different purposes. Especially on Facebook. I block any possible bot who sends an unsolicited friend request (because declined, they still can follow you). I block anyone trying to surveil (especially if they talk about posts, while not seemingly engaging). Unfollowing is what i do when I don't want to sever ties, but the person (or administrators) are letting the posts be mainly polarizing provocations that feed both on support and any negative reaction that can be reframed as a victimhood case. At those time's "loving the sinner, and hating the sin" as Christians say, and "unfollow" them. Now if there was only a method for divisive click bait articles where social media algorithms see your avoiding the bait as "this type of content resonates with them".
Idk why people have said that about u talking about the shows or others. I love nostalgic vibes that i get to relive from these podcasts or shows! I have bad anxiety and it does help ease me just going back to that simple time. I know it may just be me who thinks that bit still. Also im glad to be a disney adult! 😂😊
So i used to be so mad that im considered a millennial. Cause so many was like damn millennial messed this up or did this. Come to find out it has been gen Z that messed it all up not millennials.

I was born in 95 and always felt right in the middle…excited for another episode 😊
Happy Tuesday Christy and thank you so much for having Myles Weber. Interesting topic you have on today's episode. You are the coolest Christy! ❤
FAT FACT: Millennials had a way better childhood with better movies, shows, music, etc. there is no debate here.
Facts! 😊

As someone who was born in the early 90s. It was fun! Many great stuff back in the day.
Myles is so cool 😎 in the episode.
I don't know who that comedian was, but he is funny. Sorry to be blunt about that. This was a good podcast.
I hadn’t heard of him either but he was entertaining

Today's the 20th anniversary of Walt Disney Pictures's "Home on the Range".
