Double ear infection and a broken foot same week, 120 prescribed vicodin. After script ended i moved up to perc and oxy. Ruined my early 20s. So glad I was able to get out
Been there, Torn ACL/MCL & COMPOUND FRACTURE At 16 playing HS football in 2006 well before an Epidemic was talked about. I was getting 240 40mg OXYCONTIN each month & 90 30mg Morphine pills
This song is so powerful and I loved Knox’s pen, Ren’s chorus and the amazing videography. The topic is so dark and sad but needs to be discussed. I feel for anyone in the cycle of addiction with these doctor prescribed drugs. I was prescribed oxycodone years ago for a foot surgery and I took them only for 3 days and stopped taking them despite the doctor prescribing enough for a month at twice the amount I was taking. I could see how people could easily get addicted to them and I was lucky that I realized this and discontinued it. I still was hurting but I took Tylenol instead. This was way before fentanyl was a thing. By the way, sorry for your loss.
I used to be hooked to vic's and to get off them i got on Subs, I been stuck on them for 10yrs as Dr just up the dose and now to get off I have to go through hell.....or I can just keep going to doctor and 10yrs later I still am. Im just plain stuck
It used to be that stuff was mostly all rented for video shoots decades ago & then it turned into everyone thinking they needed to actually own a bunch of useless crap. 💜
Something super sad here in Baltimore City is the Heroin users actually prefer buying from someone whose product has dropped a few people. In 2019 there was a dealer who would actually on purpose put to much Fentanyl in 2-3 people's dope & when they OD word gets around that he has the strongest shit. He was sentenced to Life in Prison because multiple people testified that he did it on purpose but instead of Fentanyl he used Battery Acid off his car battery.......
I hate it when people who don’t know what they’re talking about. Talk about the shit. He was on fentanyl why? Because he didn’t get pain pills. I’m not gonna say pain pills are good but they ain’t as bad as fentanyl. Why did he start going down the bad path? Because he got fired for drug use not because he was using drugs and not doing his job. Not everybody is the same, but just because someone’s getting high in their own way doesn’t mean their life is ruined unless their life is ruined by Someone firing them just for doing it. You wanna talk about helping people? Maybe don’t fire them for doing something that you don’t like just because you don’t like it. It’s a proven fact that poverty and joblessness take what might be a drug habit and turns it into an addiction. This is a depression problem that we’re having OK? Not a drug problem. The depression problem is because men are having a hard time finding their purpose and all the world around us is telling us that we’re bad and that they don’t need us and they’d rather be in the woods with a grizzly bear than with a man. Here’s a thought if someone ain’t actually hurting someone why don’t we leave him the fuck alone and mind our own goddamn business?
Rest in peace KnotHill’s cousin
Knox and Ren are amazing story tellers. ❤️🙏🔥Such a powerful message, prayers to the people who weren’t able to fight. Thank you Duane💕
Ren produced this and really stepped it up. Knox did a great job on this lyrics and sound and emotions.
@@darthgardner he did provide tbe choir for this. Might very well be the same production.
Knox's pen meets the rising tide.

Damn that’s crazy I never considered that but I guess it makes sense, especially if you think you can handle something stronger
