Glad to see the Spyderco Para3 back in teal and S90V. I picked one up the last release in 2021 and the value is amazing. (FYI, the link here goes to the "discontinued" page for that knife.) I really want to see the Rat 2 in S35VN. Hopefully this year.
My hope was to see new qsp penguin, not so expensive like the xl version, not even expensive like mini version. Why the heck it was more Worth than normal version in brass? I am fan of brass version new, cheap penguins would be great
Ordering a CJRB Pyrite tonight. The next knife I'm gonna get in July will be the Spyderco Hap 40 Delica 4, which is my fav edc knife model. At the moment, I carry a Cold Steel S35VN Lawman, and an M4 steel Delica 4.
Great stuff today guys, I'm super excited about those Ontario knives. And I've already seen one blade show segment from the channel, but am definitely looking forward to seeing more :).
I like the scales on the Case knives. Trappers are my favorite pattern of traditionals. I like how every scale is different. Can’t wait to see Blade Show coverage. Thanks 🔪🎸
I keep thinking I need to give QSP a shot, the exclusive penguin in s35vn with the coral G10 for $65 is a great deal and I haven’t heard anything bad other then they’re made overseas
Really liking the rat. Yeah it's gonna be like the Leek. One of those that are still selling decent for years. Will have to get one of the G10 ones. Steel don't matter much to me but scales look really good
Hey DCA, a quick clarification - dive knives are most often made with a blunt tip to avoid accidentally puncturing a hole in BCD (buoyancy compensator device), not for prying underwater. I love the videos. Looking forward to your blade show coverage.
That Para 3 lightweight went quick on your guys’ site, ended having to pick one up from a different retailer. But no way could i pass up S90V on the Para 3 LW, literally the perfect knife to carry in summer.
I feel like a some of these have already been on the site. Maybe they were pre sale. But I've had the white river PKO on my list for a while. And the kntario magnicut knives have been there a few months.
Hi. Thanks for all the knowledgeable videos. I'm looking for a new caping knife in a folder (not a fan of replaceable blades). I love the non-slip and choke up controls of the Steel Will Cutjack Mini but the blade shape doesn't offer the carving/paring ability that I would like. All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I love a good wire clip too. I haven't handled a Stout, but I've done a full review of the Buzz. And lastly, did I read on SatuDave's you might be going to BS West in Salt Lake? I'm considering it.. ✌️
Hey DCA … what else is on that cart/table next to you? You pulled a weighing scale, calipers, Teklok, and all the sheathes. What other tools or equipment is there?
I like the Ontario SPL to use as a camp/cooking knife. Have been using it in the kitchen and it is pretty good. (not quite as slicey as a dedicated chef's knife, but works pretty well for the purpose). I don't like the sheath much and would have rather had a quality leather sheath without the "lock" function as well as the divet in the handle. I like to have my camp/kitchen knife with a tapered handle up top toward the blade to be able to choke up in a pinch grip well. So I will probably modify this knife and buy a sheath to do that. One other note. The Lanyard hold of the scales did not match, which is a quality control issue. Not a huge deal for me since I am not going to use a lanyard, but that was disappointing for fit and finish. Again, not a big deal for me because I don't use a lanyard and will probably modify this knife anyway so will probably just drill it out larger and file it smooth for a larger hanging hole if I use it in the kitchen, but that would not be ideal for a user that likes to use a lanyard or is not comfortable modifying a knife.
I have both. One for urban EDC, the other as a backup knife when I'm outside. But I am still looking for a slimmer sheath option for the Exodus 3 to make it look like a slightly bigger than average pen ...
Just got my OKC SPL pack knife. It's a great design and amazing materials. However it is not well finished. I had to re profile the edge to a convex at the edge. If you are not capable of doing that you might not be happy with it. Otherwise I am very happy.
@@chrisb9639 the sheaths works well holding the knife. I am going to attach a loop to it to drop it. So it should be fine. Also my belt fits through the loop. There must be some chunky belt loops out there. It's a dive knife style sheath and is well made just different to what people are use to.
If the handle feels comfortable to you it doesn’t really need much honestly. I sanded down the handle a bit, hit it with a small torch to give it some patterns and put some boiled linseed on the handle. Other than that the only thing I could see doing is if you want the tip to be sharpened spending some time on that.
@@Squatch-sj3vg The 6 inch holdout 1 too. Have one in cts-xhp and the 6 inch ti-lite kris, Lynn Thompson signature edition. Both are big and bad, the kris has such an intimidating grind.

Beast
That Rat1 in S35 is knocking on the door of hall of fame status.
😊
Will it work with the already established aftermarket scales, I wonder.
Looks very solid for the price point
Bought mine last week, and I fell back in love with the Rat! Best one yet.
My hope was to see new qsp penguin, not so expensive like the xl version, not even expensive like mini version. Why the heck it was more Worth than normal version in brass?

Your not a clust buddy you do a great job every week at showing us these knives and I totally mean that.
Awesome to see a nordsmith in stock!
The CJRB Pyrite engraving gives of Great Wave off Kanagawa vibes.
The Ontario fixed blade is amazing! I bet it’s gonna be a good food prep as well and edge should last for ever
I almost cried seeing all those fixed blades.. they're beautiful 🥺❤️🍻
You my friend are a knife nut
Ordering a CJRB Pyrite tonight. The next knife I'm gonna get in July will be the Spyderco Hap 40 Delica 4, which is my fav edc knife model. At the moment, I carry a Cold Steel S35VN Lawman, and an M4 steel Delica 4.
Another great episode. Very impressive variety of merchandise. Love the editing process, or lack thereof.
David, it is very good of you to use the word “unique” properly. Kudos!
DCA that knife you designed is excellent 👌 that is exactly what I look for when picking a fixed blade. 👏👏👏
Some very interesting stuff but what grabbed my attention the most is the Rat 1. Thank for sharing!
That pyrite looks pretty sweet. Always love wave vibe stuff having grown up on a coastline
That qsp folder design looks ideal for my preference with the choke point nice
I cut down about a 2 1/2 inch tree out of necessity with the original AUS 8 Rat one and it's unfazed. I'm definitely getting that legend in S35VN.
Great stuff today guys, I'm super excited about those Ontario knives. And I've already seen one blade show segment from the channel, but am definitely looking forward to seeing more :).
The Red RAT 1 is sweet. I bought mine about a month ago. It is gorgeous and feels very sturdy. I love it.
that is Joker Nomad 6.5. There is smaller nomad too. I got it from spain when it came out few months ago, great knife.
The handles on that Nordsmith Lapwing are spectacular
I like the scales on the Case knives. Trappers are my favorite pattern of traditionals. I like how every scale is different. Can’t wait to see Blade Show coverage. Thanks 🔪🎸
That Nordsmith is looking really nice. Good job on that.
Congrats DCA! The knife looks awesome 👍
I keep thinking I need to give QSP a shot, the exclusive penguin in s35vn with the coral G10 for $65 is a great deal and I haven’t heard anything bad other then they’re made overseas
I just got the penguin as well. I love it. Came razor sharp too.
I don’t know why, but I am obsessed with the Pyrite... you keep coming out with variants, and I'll keep buying thwm!
That dive knife is cool. You could scrape barnacles with the front and with no point you won't pop your life raft either.
Just received a new benchmade bugout from you guys in the limited alpine glow from you guys yesterday and it was awesome
Rat 1 for the win, hopefully we get a rat 2 also. Something about spyderco pm2&pm3, I have a sick addiction lol
Fun new stuff! Still using Leatherman Skeletool as EDC. Or Gerber Suspension. Oh well.
Lark is cool.
Always good to see what's new. Just picked up the AD 20.5 3V/Titanium from you guys on sale 👍
Mmmm... This red Rat 1 looks like something that I didn't knew I need :)
Really liking the rat. Yeah it's gonna be like the Leek. One of those that are still selling decent for years. Will have to get one of the G10 ones. Steel don't matter much to me but scales look really good
I really like the way Cold Steel did s35..! I'm hoping Ontario doesn't fail me!
Nice job on the nordsmith! Would love to see your take on an Esee izula type knife
Thank you!

I like/want majority of the knives presented today, and that’s rare. Nice lineup!

Right hand compression lock is the hardest lock for lefties to actuate hands down. That’s why the axis lock dominates the market.
With deep carry clips, the exposed end should have a dark tip to help make the knife more inconspicuous.
Always enjoy your reviews.
Definitely respect your opinions.
Thanks!
You're the best DCA!
Have fun at blade show guys!
I just got the Petrified Fish Loco in the mail today. I need a few more beater knives.
I really like your design, for the Nordsmith, but it needs a Reverse-Tanto blade style.
S90V Para 3 isnt up on the site yet :( says its discontinued
Yeah, what gives??
yeah, I was about to order it, but it's out of stock and discontinued.
I like the Exodus a lot. T’would be good for edc.
D.C.A. ..My birthday this week.. LAPWING on my list!! Please and ty
If outta stock I ll settle for the Ontario flat drop point magnachop.
Love your videos been watching for years

Man, they really need to make the Becker B19 in a descent steel! 3V or 4V would be awesome 😊
Thanks AJ. Great video.
The Para 3 edge belly is almost identical to the Mini Bugout's belly.
Got the s35vn rat1 what ever happened to the byond edc river wolf in micarta?????

DCA knife, sweet!
Serious sales talent.
The Nordsmith and the White Rivers are awfully tempting...
Nomad! Nomad! Nomad! - And the Pyrite.

Hey I've been using a gerber paraframe mini for a while now but wanting something a bit bigger but not much more expensive any suggestions
Para 3 lightweight in teal color is not listed on your website.
Wow that Anax is awesome! Little out of my budget tho.
Does OKC offer a left-handed sheath for the SPL pack knife? I got mine and realized that I cannot seem to reverse it (sad face)...
Does the teal Para 3 have washers ?
That ontario magnacut camp knife would have had me, but that sheath is so stupid. killed it for me.
It's the only thing keeping me from buying it as well
New knives time *YES*
Can we get a ruling?
Is it Joker or Yoker?
I like Kizer PPY in Raffir Noble over that new Pyrite crjb. The second knife made me think it was a blacked-out Kizer Mini Paragon.
I'd be all over Joker Nomad if it was N690 which is a Cobalt bearing alloy like VG-10. I love N690 alloy steel knives! Like my WTG Nomad EDC!
Hi from south africa 🇿🇦
Am I a knife snob if I prefer tip up carry, and only buy knives with a flipper tab or automatics?
It's showing discontinued on the Para 3. Are they all gone already?
Why even highlight the Para3 LW in S90V today on June 1st, and then I go to the page and it is discontinued
I know, right?
Scandi Grind! 😍😍
becker nessie looks great
I have the Exodus 3 and i love it. Exodus 4 is fine too, but the shape is not so elegant.

It is definitely “oh so smooth and delicious” listen to DCA folks. He knows his smooth and delicious! 🙌🏻
DCA, I'm a klutz with front flippers myself.
Ontario rat is great!!!!
Is the para3 still in stock?
Is the Anax a reverse tanto tanto?
I’ve heard that case blade also called a California clip point instead of muskrat blade
Joker is killing it as usual
15 minutes after the video dropped they ran out of the para 3 come on guys.
Hmmm a pm3 in s90v or pay more and get one in spy27 ?? You're not allowed to ask this question until the s90v is out of stock everywhere.
Are they sold in a set or separate
See you at Blade Show!
The 6.5" Joker Nomad should be in 14c28n. Everything else can stay the same.
I feel your pain with the front flippers DC they actually suck !! 😂
I impulse bought an 18 inch tramontina machete, what modifications would you recommend?
Some cool tattoos! 😉

That Lapwing should join my collection. David yinth best

are there any folders with a large blade (5-6") you can recommend

Cold steel voyager xl aus10 steel in clip point , tanto , or drop point.. Not the prettiest materials but it's a very capable beater /edc.
Cold steel is also releasing a new large folder soon that looks amazing but in the 350 dollar range ...
