*The Pontiac Trans Am that was used in the film is from 1977 to 1978 it is the same body style as Burt Reynolds Trans Am but Burt Reynolds Trans Am was black and gold both of the cars from the movie had the same exact engine a 400 cubic inch 6.6 L V8*
Interesting fact: The Trans Ams used in Smokey and the Bandit were '76 models. Pontiac gave them the nose cones to make them look like 77's because the 77's weren't available yet.
@@TMVarchive *It's a 1977 Trans Am," says Gene Kennedy, owner of Bandit Movie Cars in Palmetto. And the 1976 Trans Am had Circle headlights the 77 has four dual Square lamps*
This video is actually referenced in Color of Night's IMDb trivia page! Go there, Ctrl+F search Killer Cars, and it's right there! It's actually what made me search for your old stuff on UA-cam and find your new channel.
Wait, is that it? All the car did was chased him, failed, send a car off of a parking garage to kill him, failed again, and that's basically the movie?
Hilarious when the absurdly timed car falls off the top of the parking garage, as there was no way whatsoever the wannabe killer in the red car, who pushed the car through the barrier, would have known where Bruce Willis was walking far below, there’s the witty reference, “Missed me! I’m gonna keep making Die Hard movies, bitch!”
I'm just goofing. I recognize the tragedy of wrecking perfectly good muscle cars. Those poor 'Stangs never had a chance to earn any excessive speeding tickets.
The Bandit seems to have taken a different route in his life now.
Oh man that’s dirtz holly shit Bruce I thought it would be bigger then that best quote of this video

Yup, seen it 'cause you mentioned it before.
Kinda seems irrelevant to the movie's trivia though.

No, just a scene in the movie. The movie is a murder mystery with lots of characters bumping uglies, it doesn't revolve around cars.
Oh man that is dirtz.............. holy shit Bruce I thought it would be bigger than that
