Fun Fact: the k5 blazer used for this movie was heavily modified specifically for crashing into things so if there needed to be any smashing and crashing the truck would be completely fine while whatever that's on the outside, is reduced to atoms, not just that but also has a similar sounding horn to that of the Peterbilt from duel
That Dual reference at the end is insane! Youre right those K5 blazers look great. One of the last good looking cars GM made. Back when I was restoring cars we had one roll into the shop for a full restoration. Surprisingly still had the under hood jack hardware.
The bit at the end with the character from Dual was a nice touch they went to a lot of trouble to make that guy look like the character and the car from duel somebody must have been a fan.
During his college years, my father was the owner of a Chevy K5 Blazer just like this one. The reference to "Dual" at the end was quite unexpected. Furthermore, I would like to offer a word of advice: it is unwise to provoke a formidable adversary such as a killer truck.
i remember watching this movie many years ago while bored. but i don't remember the straight up duel insert. also the truck in the movie what my friends likely imagine me driving
Oh nice! I think I remember you getting requests for this one back in the day. This looks like your typical mid-2000s "everybody sucks" horror thriller. David Mann passing by in the red Valiant was outrageous. XD
Watched this movie a long time ago but I forgot most of it, when I saw you uploaded this I was like no shit. Been searching for this movie for a while but had nothing to go on, glad I found this channel again 🤗
I think a decent candadite for an episode would be The cars that ate Paris (1974). Love that movie, I like to think it was pretty well made but I'm sure you could find out more about the movie than I know. Was made in Austrialia.
I liked this movie quite a bit. Not the best paced, some of the flashback scenes went on a little long, but for a movie that obviously didn't have much money behind it, the opening credits are one step above Windows Movie Maker, it's a decent killer car movie and a pretty good thriller! I have a VHS copy which is super rare since this is a 2005 movie, VHS's final year, and I would watch it again. The setting of a parking garage does manage to make it feel claustrophobic, despite having wide, open spaces. I do agree that the villain's motivations were pretty weak and I do agree on your point about endings; a film's ending can either complete a great film or make it feel uncomplete. This movie also did reference Duel a bit too much. For your point at the end, I'm wondering why they didn't get Dennis Weaver himself to do a cameo. He was still alive at the time, though he did pass the next year in 2006. Great to see another killer car video from you, dude! Can't wait to see more if that's what you've got in mind!
Ah. You were the one who told me huh? I didn't even know about it until it was requested. The early 21st century really was the last gasp for the killer car genre. My hope is that the Christine remake revives it.
Hey welcome back saw a film that I thought you would like it's called "the volkswagen kuning" based on a Malaysian urban legend about a killer yellow beetle.
I’m glad I found your channel, I’ve really been enjoying your videos. I now have some new killer vehicle movies to watch, not this one though. You know, this movie feels like it could have been a good, claustrophobic thriller had it been done right.
One good thriller that takes place in a parking garage, is the 2007 film "P2". Not sure how much it qualifies as a "killer car" movie, but it is certainly better than "Throttle".

@@TMVarchive it wasn't a big hit in the 80s. But it's about a talking monster truck named Mr. Twister and his jot headed driver going after 3 bumbling crooks that kidnap his woman and held hostage. So it's like knight rider and monster truck jam rolled into a movie
That killer Possessed the Van..To Take Revenge in the Movie I Watch Throttle 2, it's gonna looks Nice Because the Killer inside the van is Possessed his Soul in the Van the van is very Creepy now because The Guy open it the Van no One's Driving UNTIL he no's killer is Possessed to Take Revenge Part 2 is So Cool the Van Car Evil is Immortal He Can't Destroy it The Van is so Scary Immortal 😬🙂
good to see you back sharing these old videos! Always loved the Killer Cars videos, found a bunch of classics i woulda missed otherwise. Hey didnt you do one about a film called Highwaymen? Had this big bodied 70s Caddy i think as the choice of car? will that get reuploaded too?
Funny ass movie and yes, I did do a vid on it back in the day. It was before I started the "almost killer car" series which is where I will put it when I get around to remaking it.
He didn’t seriously call a Chevrolet K5 Blazer a piece of shit truck and I’m gonna be honest with you but if he kept his mouth shut the truck wouldn’t have chased his ass
The Ending of this video just made me go nahhhhhhhh bruh seriously this is not ur movie get back in ur movie u are not going to save this one cause you don't belong in no disrespect tho I respect that bruh in Deul but this ain't ur movie bruh nahhh man nahhh

"Get back in your own movie dude, you can't save this one" 😂😂😂 lmao ur review reminded me of Svengoolie and I love it
That Dual reference at the end is insane! Youre right those K5 blazers look great. One of the last good looking cars GM made. Back when I was restoring cars we had one roll into the shop for a full restoration. Surprisingly still had the under hood jack hardware.
The villain drives the Chevrolet Blazer K5 in the Parking Lot Garbage. The mad man driving the truck to try killed Bob Weaver.
The villain is a psychopath.
The villain is Eddie.
Eddie holds Molly as a hostage.
David Mann appears on the movie after taken down a tanker.
I totally wasn't expecting the guy from duel at the end! Wow
The bit at the end with the character from Dual was a nice touch they went to a lot of trouble to make that guy look like the character and the car from duel somebody must have been a fan.
They REALLY just had to go and blow the Duel reference subtlety at the end there, huh? _Nice job, guys._
Well, "subtlety"
During his college years, my father was the owner of a Chevy K5 Blazer just like this one. The reference to "Dual" at the end was quite unexpected. Furthermore, I would like to offer a word of advice: it is unwise to provoke a formidable adversary such as a killer truck.
Ladies and gentlemen the man himself is back also love all of your videos mate

Great video / review to another classic
Finally, we’ve got another video just finally
Ahahahahahahahahhaha I LOVE the OVERT hat tip to Duel at the end!
The only good thing in this movie if you ask me.
I love this guy

2:19 the truck: 👿 you shouldn't have said that!!! (Turns all it's lights on) You're a dead man now, COME HERE!!!!!👿
Now i want to see a killer Transformer that has stuck in car form killing humans in horror movie style. 😄
Been a long time since a killer car review. Nice review. Tbh: a Chevy K5 Blazer done up right will be a cool killer truck.
They're nice rigs. I've driven a couple that were in the family but couldn't afford to own a decent one myself. They really shot up in value.
awesome vid dude that k5 blazer was beefy

9:56 what song is this? I know it but I’m not sure of the name
So this is a prequel to duel

What an awkward ending. How did HE manage to get his car back after he literally sacrificed it to destroy the tanker in Duel?
bro if i was the guy in the parking garage i would jump in my car then go to the police
Check out the vid sometime my dude :)
If the main character would use common sense, the movie would end as soon as he wouldve ran up the car ramps.
What is the color of the modified 1979 K5 Blazer?
Wow David mann find a new car for work
Phantom vehicles are spooky sometimes.

I did indeed do a vid on Highwaymen. I had a lot of copyright issues with it which is why I am hesitant to go to the trouble of remaking it.

That’s crazy dude cause how in the the guy from the duel movie in there
does anybody know where i can watch this movie? i've been looking everywhere and dont have a clue where to find it
Amazon bro. You can find anything there.
Nice
You told me this was on UA-cam,I only found the trailer and a German version of the movie

Duel (and others) never revealed the identity and it was a major boost to the story. This way the vehicle becomes the monster.
