I’ve been trying MANY different decks with this. Honestly I think a fast deck to draw the combo has been the most consistent for me, But I didn’t think about the ‘draw a dranei’ card. I’ve been using the ‘draw a card that costs (5) or more’ to get the top end
I will say with this idea i didnt try to optimize it as much as i usually do I THINK if u want to make to most consistent u would run both the draenei i'm using & the draw a card that cost 5 or more without explosion in the deck just focus on early game control / ramping with greedy partner and such.
I suggest keeping a bit more of the gameplay volume or at least putting some background music, there are some very brief empty moment and I feel like some audio in the background could really help, also really nice vid ;3
XD well no worries there’s a Velen combo that pretty much does this but with elusive, poisonous, lifesteal and windfury guaranteed. So just consider this video the Standard combo for DK while the other Warrior Velen combo is for wild where there’s more mass silence effects. Seriously though great discovery and presentation.
Its funny because other people covering that exact combo is why i ended up naut scrapping this deck :P I figured if the bigger creators can get away with it i shouldnt feel as guilty(also why i ended up adding the deck string) Either way tho i didnt test/optimize this deck as much as I would normally because while i dont mind showcasing it... id prefer it naut to be as consistent as possible if it becomes popular :P
I like cards like Marin the manager, Kil'jaeden and the ceaseless expanse it gives value for longer games. Although I normally go Zarog's Crown for the 2 charge minions to finish the game quickly. Control is great but finishing the game quickly is better. So all the hate for kil'jaeden is unjustified. About the starcraft miniset the protoss the SciFi predator with dreadlocks might be tagged as draenai because all the draenai support. Maybe technically they don't have mouths so maybe all the protoss guys don't have battlecrys.
I like Marin & Ceaseless because they are flexible however KJ has the problem of every time u slam him down there is only so many results u can get tho the variety of him is probably WAY better in wild. Also I think u pointed out my one problem with the starcraft miniset is the fact draeneis basicly get half of a full set & no miniset to make the tribe work. BEFORE I was like sure the miniset would fix a lot of the issues of draeneis but now naut so much. Also worth noting I remember old Starcraft x Warcraft theories of how starcraft might actually be the universe before warcraft given starcraft's ending or the far future of the warcraft universe with protoss being future draenei IDK its been years sense ive seen those theories
So idk how it would be a big. It reborn a another friendly deathrattle not a weaker one. So since it died and it is a deathrattle it can reborn it self if there is no other one that died. Good job
with the amount of other interactions i tested to see if it would work I couldnt find another way to do it so unless this is some weird edge case it probably is a bug
It has to be a bug because having infinite minions that can only be stopped either by a silence or Reno is completely unfair, not to mention the addition of kil’jaiden means you’re immune to fatigue. (Of course you need to play him before the board fills up) The Druid had over 200 shield but couldn’t win because of the glitch. I do think the bug exists mainly because no ever uses eternal layover, so a glitch like this would have happened eventually.

It makes for a good question tho since we also have velen having weird interactions right now with things like amalgam(naut to mention the bug interaction between velen & keywords) the one interaction i didn’t get to testing was giving amalgam’s dr to wakener then bouncing the amalgam back that in theory could have the same interaction

I really hope that the upcoming balance patch is going to nerf a lot of the expansions that are still in Standard to lower the power level so that other cards from the new expansion can begin to see more play.
thats what im hoping that it will get fixed during the balance patch which is why i basicly delayed this by a week from when i was going to upload originally. I also hope they nerf a lot of old cards instead of trying to buff new cards to their level since it will be a mistake in the long run
Yeah depending if reno gets hit or naut the combo actually has a few counters aka aoe silence, amanthul, yogg at the start of the loop / reska , reno or direct damage which is part of the reason i decided to give u all the code

However given the board state that if they tried to take wakener with yogg before trading it would have died on my board thus giving me another 1. They had to try to make room for the wakener on their board before taking it(which they did). Either way I'm pretty sure this even isnt intended. Also michal is right as seen in the game because they got other dr minions the loop doesnt work for them

So the control druid in the video is about the only deck that would be consistently beaten by this DK deck. Otherwise, this DK deck gets absolutely wrecked by just about everything else. You will rarely pull off the combo in time before your opponent has you beaten. Even if you do get the combo, you're still not safe from certain cards (i.e. Reno, etc.) Not a good deck.
I mean... its almost like i never optimized the combo because the deck is literally broken(its a bug) I also pulled off the combo vs Warrior, DK, Mage & Druid I just didnt include them because why would I u get the idea from 1 game alone IF this was an intended interaction which i doubt I would have put more effort but it was still something "fun" while waiting for balance changes to showcase
DK always has such bs interactions. And the worst part about it is that people defend DK so hard. He has mana cheat, insane minions, infinite board clear (and as you see infinite minions intented or not), insane health gain, a mechanic no other class has direct access to, etc etc etc. Remove DK from the game :) Edit: yogg too
at first glance i wouldnt agreed due to the previous way sargeras works with getting additional copies BUT with the amount of testing dont the only other edge case i think i missed to test in standard was amalgam dr -> wakener -> bounce the amalgam back IF that works i think its intended BUT for now i mostly agree with u

doesnt running two copies of the combo pieces counter the counters (reno, sarg, yogg) since you can set it up twice

honestly reno can easily negate this easily so even if its a bug its not impossible to beat (also a DK can control it with reska early on)

from all the testing i did the only thing to cause it to work this way was eternal layover thus making me think its a bug
