Hands down. The biggest Oscar snub of the year!
Shawshank Redemption was far far better than Forrest Gump as well!
Amy Adams was robbed of an oscar
Haven't seen the other movies, but Arrival was a fucking masterpiece
Michael Kao agreed, watch those too they're amazing
Check out Villenueve's other hit Sicario. That movie was intense.
trha2222 have you watched like. 4 movies????
..What are you even talking about? The story is based on a book, which is ABOUT THE LIFE OF ADAMS CHARACTER. How is it lazy to stay true to the book?
It's lazy to compain about the plot when you don't even know this.
yes
I cried during the last 20 to 15 minutes of the movie when the plot started clicking together in my brain. I had lost my mother the year before and the proposition the movie poses really broke my heart and it still does no matter how many times I've seen this film already. Would you make the same choices and experience the same love and joy, knowing it would end in the most heartbreaking pain you'll ever know. This movie is so incredibly profound and touches me to my core!
This. ❤️
Me too. I have just finished it and I cried so much in the last 20 minutes. But I cried not because I was sad but because there's a beauty in this movie, in this message, it's something no word can ever explain. This is truly beautiful. Greetings from Brazil?
Please give her an Oscar. Amazing perform
such an iconic group of people
I just watched this movie. SO GOOD. I loved it. Subtle and slow but so worth every minute. It's a very appreciative movie. You've got to appreciate the whole project. So well done. All good without any real action especially for aliens. It's a mom. Brilliant.
breeship how much is Jeremy Renner in it? I can't take that guy..
@@Joy-is4qy he is a supporting actor. But Amy is ur all focus. Go check out the movie
best performance by an actress hands down and she wasn't even nominated for an oscar...
I remembered that Oscar performance, it was insane. All the other performers had back-up dancers and props to distract the viewers attention from the singers, but Amy, poor Amy got a mic stand. And she had to sing in front of all those Hollywood A-listers when she herself was only just starting to rise into prominence. But, eversince that performance, i have mad respect for her.
Loved how lovingly Natalie was listening to Amy throughout.. This is so sweet. Truly the biggest Oscar snubs ever. Amy was phenomenal in Arrival..!
Very lovely 💗
Amy's seems so genuine on and off screen. I hope she or Isabelle get all those awards.
Seen several interviews with her, probably the least pretentious actress in Hollywood. If she won an award you know she'd use her acceptance speech to thank those who helped her to that position. The way that civilised people behave!
She needs an Oscar already!
She's extraordinary!!!!
I watched this film yesterday, it's phenomenon.
"It's a mother telling a story to her daughter." This film is so touching. God only knows how many tears I have shed watching it. It amazes me to listen to male reviewers who only talk about science and totally miss its emotive content.
Yeah, because we men are *so* dense. Bruh
I love when Amy said, "Emma..do it!" :)
And Emma just gives her that look, "You...". Lol put these two in a girl-buddy comedy!
I love amy she's my fave along with cate blanchett
Mine too.
I want roundtable with amy cate meryl saoirse emma helen :)
LA Times had a roundtable with almost everyone you listed (there was no Amy) for this year's Oscars. Stupid thing about this is that the full panel not on UA-cam.
is it "the envelope" one?
krnstrong Yes, it is!
Her eyes and hair are absolutely stunning! So majestic. :)
She probably was talking about him. On top of being an all-around horrible person, he's a terrible writer and director.
He was a coward with Amy. Isabelle Huppert - also on the table - was with Lily Tomlim and saw the mess on the set of "Huckabees". Only ~relatable~ actresses have nerves to work with that kind motherfucker.
I'm proud to say that my digital painting teacher, Meinert Hansen, was one of the first concept artist to design the look of the aliens for Arrival.
I just realised Amy and Taraji were nominated against each other at the Oscars, the year of 'Doubt' and 'Benjamin Button'
richfictionfighter That's right!
Amy is so mature and authentic. She's like the furthest opposite of a diva.
Fuck, it's Stephen Galloway.
She deserves an oscar, I know she could do it in the future, Arrival an amazing movie!!
I usually stay clear from infotainment, but these THR-round tables are actually interesting. They bypass all tabloid and talkshow nonsense and show the nobility of the acting profession.
Amy is great in everything she does. A true talent.
I think she might get an Oscar Arrival was flawless a true masterpiece
My fave actress.
arrival was one of the best scifi movies in a long time. her performance as a prof is great
AMY WAS ROBBED. I can't believe Emma Stone was nominated for best actress and Amy wasn't.
They are both amazing.
I hope it’s this year
@@JackHoleey3 Stone is overrated
@@PitbullSubs bird man, easy A?
@@PitbullSubs poor things was great
One day Amy.... you'll get your Oscar you should've gotten for many of your movies, especially this one.
"At least you don't have to sing about pimps and whores" LOL
It was a self reference, because she sang the song "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp", from the film Hustle And Flow, at the Oscars. And the song talks about pimps and whores.
WHAT THE HELL look at all these wonderful actresses I'm speechless!!
She's so real LOVE HER.
I not-so-secretly love that she occasionally threw some mild shade at David O. Russell here.
Aaron Lanier the mildest of shades.
As she should
I love love her!
She's amazing!
I love the whole spectrum of Amy Adams and the emotional landscape she comes with... an amazing actress who is only getting better with age!!
Love her moments of camaraderie with Natalie and Emma. Sure love to see them do movies together...perhaps in Ocean's 8/9/10?
THIS WHOLE VIDEO IS MY FAVOURITE 😂😂 Stage fright
I know how hard it is for me to choose between Amy, Keira Knightley and Natalie. But I choose Amy for life
Saw Arrival last night, very good
Amy Adams, Isabelle Huppert and Natalie Portman, heaven on a table.
Please give Oscar to this queen........she deserve
my 2 favourite actresses in 1 room Amy and Emma why they haven't been in a film together yet is beyond me
How I love Amy Adams!!
i just melted looking at Amy's eyes at 3:20
She was ROBBED! lol. Incredible work. Arrival will go down as one of the Sci-Fi greats. She killed it.
I love her so much.
I miss our friendship Amy!
Amy and I were together back in “95” in Utah!
I thought I was going to be blinded by looking at Amy Adams
Can we get the full roundtable discussion on UA-cam?
Annette banning seems sooo intimidating omg
LOL Taraji at the end.
i think the best filme i have seen
at this THR mostly i just admire a lot Amy Annette Natalie and Emma
"I became more interested in human nature." Wow~
i'm suddenly in love
A lot of what people perceive as the interviewer cutting off the people speaking is the editing of the interview.
Taraji at the end though 🤣🤣
Amy is so likeable woman.
Release the full roundtable!
I was excited about this round table... until I saw Stephen :/
Haha, I'm with you on that. But in these 4 minutes long clips, he acts normally, like a real journalist should. So I hope when they release the whole thing, he's gonna be decent in it.
All these people in the same room make me happy.
is she shining or it is just the lightning ?!
i'm sure there will be the real bloodbath in best female role nominations at the oscars and the golden globes
are the full length roundtables up yet?
Are you fucking kidding me? A bunch of Oscar buzz actresses was actually sitting together discussing?
They do this every year.
Where's the full video?
They should be out in January
Ayesha Khan oh I see. K gotcha.
is this an Oscar roundtable or a redheads roundtable? I'm confused.
Why is everyone here on the verge of crying?
Where is viola davis?
She looks like Taylor Swift here
HELLO BEAUTIFULIS fLOWERS RORS WOMANS QUEENS 👑👑👑👑👑
really he face look like my wife 95%
Did she spoil the movie?
Thanks for the warning!
Pedro Gonçalves I really hope what she said isnt a spoiler. I was planning on watching it this weekend lol.
Josue Jimenez I haven't even watched the video because of your warning.
no, it's made really clear from the start that she is a mom. it may however give you a different approach to the movie, but it's nothing major.
paula henkar thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
Arrival is a great movie....if aliens can see into the future they also no what's to come
Man at every single one of these roundtables the actress's just get completely emotional for no fucking reason, while the guys just have a good time #ACTRESSBECRAZY
i don't know what you're referring to in this video, but emotional is good. let's have more emotional guys. no one (and by no one i mean me) likes guys who repress and repress and kill themselves. or each other. yay emotions.
Have you seen the pretentious whining about how tough he has it as an actor in the Andrew Garfield video?
Do you know Isabelle Huppert is in it ? Because she's like the less emotional human being on this planet.
Bening looks SOUR
lol...
OMG Where da fuk is this whole video, THR??
the only female in hollywood that i have respect for besides jolie.
Well, Emma didn't have to sing, after all!
A lot of redheads. Luck of the Irish still running strong am I right?!
I'm not sure Isabelle Huppert has any Irish ancestry you know.
Caleb Wild sorry to burst your bubbles but Amy Adams and Emm Stone are born with blonde hairs
For all you know her foliage'll nab the nines in these parts and all without smiling even though that's what I came for.
When Amy made sure to mention that writing compelling female characters is not something unique for a male, and Natalie Portman just said that it is. Wow. I really used to like Natalie Portman. No longer. She has allied herself with the overarching toxic feminist ethos that Hollywood women have been engulfed by. Do I really need to mention great female characters written by male writers? I don't think so.

I am more the a breeder. Do you have anything the is educational?
That
They're so caught up in their contrived feminism that they can't even get through one conversation without complaining about the patriarchy.
This is just a part of the whole video lol
Yeah but Josh we arent in their position we dont know what it's like. Yes we arent all horrible men and yes theres horrible women out there but theres men who are terrible and they are high upbin the business.
