I was bored one Friday night and instead of going to the pub I decided to run the height of Everest … and beyond just … for the craic :)
A little while back (July 12th 2019) I decided to have a little fun on the epic mountains of the Reeks District, in the south west of Ireland…
I did it for an Alzheimers/Dementia charity close to my own heart…
FYI :the majestic Macgillycuddy's Reeks and namely Carrauntoohil (irelands highest peak) lies just outside my home town Killarney in a region they call the Kingdom (after watching this, you will understand why)

Wow. Congratulations man!! That was a stunning trip. Loved it. Always brings a huge sense of pride to have grown up in those great hills. I always joke that Carrauntoohil is the same height as Everest but it fell over. I think you just stood it up again. Great film.

I've just watched this Sean, that was an amazing achievement and a very professionally shot film. I needed some motivation , just DNF'd a race and need a re-set ahead of Arc100 in Jan. I hear you on the eating healthier, I just need to actually do it. 😁

I know its the tallest mountain in Ireland but its really disrespectful to compare it to Everest, this is a little baby mountain. Nice production though!
