Hey guys, can you help me find a plugin he used in one of his breakdowns? It was an unusual plugin, which worked with the frequency spectrum of the sound to select just some parts of that spectrum.. or something like that
can someone pls explain what he did with sytrus at the begining? I don't have FL and the stream lag makes it impossible to follow. I get that he is modulates the wave shape, pitch parameters, and gliding the notes. But can anyone expand? Been trying to get the same result in Ableton operator/serum
He's using a Fruity peak controller here to apply the dynamics of the source sample to his chords, but you could do this with Envelope follower in Ableton (it's a Max4Live device, but you should have it installed by default on 9 Suite or 10 Suite).
hey man, this is actually way easier in ableton. Open up a gate click sidechain and the choose the source (in this case a drum loop) and then change the threshold and ur good to go. Also no max4live rubbish needed.

click on the button left from the settings "brows parameter" and then you'll find all parameters of any plugIn

ableton wont be able to, fl can glide multiple notes independently which is what hes doing, as far as im aware thats not possible in ableton

You can do the same in ableton with any MPE compatible synth

Yeah it’s a bounce of the chords most likely but if you want more crackles and clicks in the sounds you can bounce it with some of the drums.

you can do this with ableton's compressor in expander mode (sidechained). or with a sidechained gate
