"Cause that's what you want, all the heavy cast iron parts just thrown on top of sensitive, machined surfaces."😁 Gonna be fun to watch this thing progress.
Brandon and Fred, I dig the way you analyze the process of this build. I'm learning as you go. I'm a 351 Windsor, 350 4 bolt, bolt on mods, minimal experience mechanic. I'm hooked on this build. Looking forward to the next vid. I've got a friend, Diesel "A", turned on to your channel, who is connected to Deboss Garage checking you out. Deboss Garage is just down the road from my shop. It's amazing, social media has turned the world into a tight little family. Nice to see Jefff roaming a round.
That much cash in the valvetrain already, get valves and save the conversation to help him make the decision to keep that turbo, enjoy the 400ish with a little torque, and make the chassis right. I've recently had a few 'other shop' partials come through; strangely, the customers all had some of the missing pieces in their garage. Maybe you'll get that intake.
I am so impressed with the amount of work you guys are going to put into this car. With everything in pieces, I would've ran away screaming. How did the owner take all the news? I'd also love to get a breakdown of costs when it's all finished if possible.
Yes, a Honda Fit that I bought came with innovative mounts. We put it on the lift to check why it felt like crap shifting. The transmission mount insert was being pulled out of the mount under load. If those “performance” mounts can’t stay together on a stock fit why use them on anything.
What series engine was the cam gears for? I'm building an F22B DOHC head and they are supposed to be the same as a h23. I've read that the B series and the H series use the same cam gears.

Fingers Crossed
Subbed just for this 🙌 so I'm looking forward to it lol 😆
Thank you, welcome to the U-Wrench Nation 😂😂😂
Always good to see Jeff hard at work.
Believe it or not, he is the hardest worker in the entire shop...
Your channel is kewl!
Thank you! We've all been working mighty hard on this, and there is sooooo much more filmed and being edited as we speak...👀

We’re going to do our best for a final tally at the end.
@@90crxdx Thank you! This is going to be great! I'm guessing $10-$15K just for the mechanical stuff.
Did the shop duplicate order all of these parts?
Most likely, they didn’t do much right.
Tiny turbo!
tinnie tiny
😀👍👍
I myself am building a turbo 5th gen. Can I ask what issues you have heard about innovative mounts other than the fitment issues?

Y’all didn’t assemble engine block, piston, connecting rod, no piston ring gapping, main, and looks like machine shop did all the work.
You are correct. The owner brought the block to us already assembled by Map Performance. We're assembling the rest.
