I find that i just get so absorbed into my own life that i ignore the ways I've been blessed. It's hard to have any other perspective than my own. It takes effort to consider the problems of others, and then even more effort to humble myself enough by ruminating on those problems. Studies show that people who practice gratitude are happier than those who don't. I wish more people chose to be happier. Thanks for the video
2:50 It's a bit hard to be thankful about doctors here in Sweden, mostly due many of them aint much more than legalized drug dealers with an office. There's so many problems with healthcare here, one of the biggest is the blatant mismanagement of resources and that there's both a very top heavy and micro-managy government body that just makes things worse and leeches resources (länsstyrelsen or the county board ). It can take months before you see some doctor that barely spends 10 minutes with you, can't even be bothered to read up on your journal and spends most of the time using google search for what you might have problems with. The saddest thing is that the politicians are totally fine with this, we get so little despite paying among the highest taxes in the world. Swedish healthcare is only sort of great if you need certain emergency healthcare, in pretty much every other thing it's massively inept and sh!1..
