I made these last night and they were so delicious! The recipe was very easy to follow and I was surprised how well they turned out even for my first try. Even my Tibetan husband was impressed :)

It is traditionally deep fried thats why i usually wrap them in kitchen towel or use paper towel at bottom to absorb excess oil.. Alternatively, if you want to use lesser oil, you can shallow pan fry as well, which takes little longer to cook but uses lesser oil for sure. If you have air fryer, you can even air fry them (no oil) but does change the bread taste and texture to almost like roti.

You're welcome. To save time, you can even freeze them like momo and deep fry/shallow fry or air fry when you feel like eating 👍

Thank you for an awesome recipe. Just one question, can I make this in an air fryer, and if so, at what temperature and cooking time..
best wishes
You're very welcome. I cant r'ber 100% but I believe I air fried at 400 for 5 mins on each side. And brushed the shabhalep lightly with oil.

Do we boil or fry it... I thought it looks little oily
