Great to see this. Think they will they ever upgrade the NH main line for a Vermonter- or Downeaster-style train to and from Boston up to Lincoln? That’d be great
@@Mountaindivisionrailfan252 as much as I wish we ran it more there's really no need to run it. Plus the brake stand in it is a 14L type stand and those are no fun to work with!
Excellent video! Glad to see you out there!
Thank you for watching! I wanted to go out Saturday but I was busy and I knew I had to get out that opening weekend.
The caboose’s horn sounds great after being cleaned!
I agree! it probably hasn't been cleaned out since 1186 used it. Thanks for watching!
Np!
It’s a bit more than a cleaning. New internals and what not.
@@NorthEasternMotionProductions From what I was told it was a total rebuild of the horn.
I appreciate it all! It was brought to my shop for a complete rebuild, along with the 302s K3L!
Awesome catches!

I doubt it. This and the Hobo are just small scenic railroads.
There are plans to extend the MBTA to Manchester NH, and a possible call for the downeaster to go as far as concord.
2:42 I know it’s the mt Washington’s, but does anyone know what type of horn it is?
Next time I'm in New Hampshire definitely putting this on the list
You should! It's a really cool operation with some really cool people!
@@Mountaindivisionrailfan252 Yes looked awesome. Next time I'm out there I'm gonna see it
How come they didn’t run around?
302 also has a clean horn
Wish they ran it more often.
@@Mountaindivisionrailfan252 yeah. The one time I heard the m3, 302 did lead.
