Outstanding. Guy King is the real deal. It's not just about blues, but he reminds us to honor the skilled musician. Hip hop has turned everyone into computer programers!! Kanye West has 21 Grammy awards. Where as Ray Charles and Eric Clapton have 17. Michael Jackson a great performer only 13.
What a voice, what a voice! Wow. There are some terrific Blues and Soul players, but very few of the greats have a voice like yours, sir. I'd put you among BB King and Ray Charles in terms of a Blues singing voice!

Looks like maybe a SF Super Reverb sitting behind him to me? Maybe even a Super 6, it's pretty tall but I can't tell if it's on wheels/riser or the ground. I'm not sure a Super 6 would have a handle on top like that normally so I'm guessing Super Reverb.
F*** me - he sounds so much like Ray Charles. I thought I would never hear me say this. I just don' t know whether it is copy or real feel. Wouldn' t know until you met this guy. Rays voice simply also stood for the suffering during his life as a blind black guy.
He sings good, but he does "Ray" when he does his songs. He does the "B.B" when he sings B B. Almost like someone doing an impression of their favorite artist. He is legit. Like he channels his version of them while he performs.
