@James Breiding I can agree on 100% of your problem solving. :) I'm Danish, and i'm happy to be Danish. It's not allways the size of a country that matters, but how the country finds soloutions for everyone on this planet to have a better life. We do only have one planet and one life. :)

*“And once the storm is over you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm you won’t be the same person who walked in.”*

I do think that in general, the ideal politics is determined by the level of technology a society has. For example: if it is more efficient to feed everyone, less labor is needed for survival. I really hope that we can start talking about political ideologies not in absolutist terms but as some equation that takes the efficiency of productivity and the connectivity of the world into account.

Cooperative contentment with "enough" is a lovely idea, and some aggressive nations with dysfunctional governments could certainly be improved. However, being small is no guarantee that an autocratic megalomaniac with control over an army will not do what autocratic megalomaniacs with control over armies have done since time immemorial ---------- take advantage of the small and weak. Hence the historic shift of national boundaries. Hence persistent resentments between populations who refuse to forget history. The problem of competitive human nature will remain.

I think it's funny how the US is the outlier in all of this. The US could still be better and we are working twords it. Hopefully once we get the states to be in power again it'll be more favorable for others to join.

The economy collapses because SME’s are running out of business. Not because of COVID 19 but because the system is rigged. The only way out of this dilemma is to recognize that we are all interconnected and that the demise of one entity has an effect on many others. There is no shortage of ways to fix some of these businesses but these opportunities need to be tackled in reverse. Focusing on developing relevant solutions, and forgetting about ROI for now.

Its all fluid, will NI unite with the ROI, or will ROI unite with NI. Its the same old, same old. There is no need for constant growth, whos idea was that? Climate change = Hubert Lamb, his idea is gaining support. Diseases is something we had forgotten.
