Comes apart much easier than my HP elitebook 2540p screws everywhere and a lot are torx to get it apart. And the first time I did that I forgot to plug in the fan, that was fun to reconnect. I did take it apart to put new paste on it too anyway that was really the only reason I did take it apart but yeah. Oh thats nothing of dust and really that wad I think was foam at least I think it was too. Anyway my dad had a desktop that the fans were blowing like jet engines right and I told my dad it needed to be clean because it would shut down too If I remember right, when we did that when I took the panel off to get to the heatsink it was genuinely packed it was a brick of dust and the funny part the dust was wet and sticky like if oil got on it. I hit it with a leaf blower to get rig of it and TONS of dust came out but thing was I think it didn't really matter because it would still eventually shut down but take far longer. If I did that now and with the knowledge I have now I would have taken off the cooler and repasted it too but I didn't know how to to do any of that nor I had thermal paste. I also cleaned a Xbox 360 too with a ton of dust too similar to this laptop hit it with my compressed air an wham plume of dust, it darn spooked me lol. The heat sink on one of them was quite bad with dust but after cleaning it, it ran much cooler. Good on you cleaning it too people need to take care of Thier computer electronics. And ngl I hate it when people who have tech like this that is good just abuse it and let it to get dust and break if I had those kinds of computer I would set a whole darn day to just clean them too I find it fun too because it kills a LOT of time in the day where I'd just be sitting on UA-cam really.
