Lyrics (English Translation):
At the border between dream and reality
Am I waiting for you
During the long hours of the night
Am I here?
Embrace the darkness
Reject the day
Pain is your friend
That's how it will remain
In a feverish state
Are you driving?
In a slow stream
Lulled to restless sleep
To hell with everything
The reward of hopefulness
A constant disappointment
To hell with everything
Embrace the darkness
Reject the day
Restless dreams
About an undemanding utopia
Free from everything
Only subject to one's own will
Far away from the grip of everyday life
During the long hours of the night
Am I here?
Pain is your friend
That's how it will remain

Fun fact: the etymology of "thall" originates from the slurred pronunciation of the World of Warcraft character Thrall when spoken with a Swedish accent
lol, nice. And thus a meme was born
@@MetalSharpensMetal actually I think they explained it as they were trying to say "Thank you all" and then somehow "thank" and "all" got put together in "Thall"
@@55Ignis I had heard of the WoW origin story, but not this one
Thrall is also the nordic word for Slave
The moment you came back in a THALL shirt, immediately threw my head back and laughed. You are a great sport, thank you
Hahaha glad you appreciated that. Thanks for watching!
Buster doesnt write riffs for vildhjarta (except in this song, that harmonic riff, which he didnt originally write for vildhjarta, it was just a scrapped riff he couldnt use for either bands, hlb or vildhjarta, that he posted on insta) he is only a drummer in vildhjarta, and he writes everything for humanity's last breath. Calle thomer and daniel bergstrom deserve more attention. Daniel is responsible for the creation of thall, and calle has the style of thall that is dominant in the current vildhjarta, used to be morr towards daniel's style
That's true, those guys are wild and i can't imagine writing like them. I think I was just pointing more to Buster being capable of playing much of it too, but maybe I was just seeing him play a few of his own riffs here and there
@@MetalSharpensMetal every riff he has on his insta is for humanity's last breath except one, that happened to be picked by calle for ylva.
@@nothng7853I definitely thought it was more than 1 riff for Vildhjarta, good to know
Ylva is the name of calle thomer's therapist from the past, so yeah mental health stuff. I think the two songs are about the lives of the anthropomorphic animals we saw in masstaden after paaradiso, from the end of masstaden under vatten.
Interesting, are you seeing this on his Instagram or something?
Yes, on his Instagram he answered some questions
Let's search for a crystal bird for the third release then!
Its pronounced kind of like, "Hyeel-vah" - its a very old surname in Swedish that translates into "She-Wolf" and is one of the earliest documented names in history.
Thanks, that's helpful!
Really nice video man, you completely went deep on the subject i appreciate it a lot !! Vildhjarta are awesome, i've been a fan since multiple years now, long live THALL !!
I appreciate that! They are indeed a super interesting band, thanks for watching!
2:42 As someone who's had their corneas blown out I can confirm the art is actually really similar to what everything looked like.
🤣🤣 RIPPP
At least you got those cool sunglasses to help
I love this band
Thanks for checking out the channel
Would love to see your reaction to a song from Karmanjakah - Ancient Skills EP
Oh snap! My search history tells me I had heard of that band a while back, but I forgot about it. Very catchy proggy stuff, I added it to the playlist. Thanks for watching!
Man I have their album 'A Book About Itself' on repeat. Awesome band.
Yeah, it's a banger ep and a great take on thall.

A bit of a rough translation, but it works
Thanks for letting me know. Was the pain remains part totally off base then?
