As a 70 year old, just seeing how modern materials replace the balsa kits(when we were 12 years old) where each rib and gusset was cut out with an Xacto knife. Covered with tissue and dope (and fuel proofer)to be replaced later with iron on coloured film. Thimble Drome, Cox, Fox and Enya where the power plants in use. Radio control was in its infancy with the first being rudder control (yaw induced roll) using rubber band escapement “technology”. We only had control line! The rich kids had a PT flight trainer from Thimble Drome, but we had plans and an .049 baby bee! One motor for a hundred home made planes! Today you can buy a ready made plane with all the accessories, motor virtually already running in the box! No fun in that. Kudos to this aero modeller. Now to find some hd foam! 👍😀
I know exactly how you feel . I get to be 70 for another month .
Seeing u still here make us believe to stay strong if u dont giveup life wobt make u an old man ❤
I love the enthusiasm, just know someone is looking up to you
Ich bin auch "Ü 70"! Klasse!!!! (Polaris XL, Sopwith Camel, 1.80 m, Andreas von Höllein) Gerhard

Impressive build from styrofoam! I liked your homemade drill. Shows creative thought and DIY skills.
Это примитивная модель
Fantastic work, buddy! It flies really well! 🙌🏻
Hey Max, big fan from India, love your creativity and will to create! Planning to contact you regarding some ideas soon!
Great idea to cut spar grooves into airfoil template. Nice build!
Nice work! I like the hot wire cutting of the wings.
This is what an aeromodeller used to be. It's nice to be spoiled these days with ready made models but it's good to see someone still has scratch-building skills and is willing to share them!
😮
For years I spent way to much money on over priced styrofoam airplanes and was never truly happy with how they performed, now I build my own out of foam board from the dollar store and have made changes to my designs to get them to fly exactly how I want them to. It took a lot of trial and error and a lot of research but in the end it's a great feeling flying something you created and flys better then others $800 airplanes.

so basically you did what flite test did and has been doing for 15 years@@jordancoleman2402
Nice plane, video and well edited. Shows what you can do for relatively little cost. Much more satisfying than buying artf!
It's great to see someone who is dedicated and has talent for building model aircraft at the plant. I have several models made by me, some are kits, others I used plans from Don Smith and Zirole. I used a lot of sandpaper, a stylus, carbon paper, glues and many tools I made myself.
Parabéns meu jovem.
Bro i respect this so much. Ive been livin years without knowing about this rc plane stuff. Props to u man and i hope i’ll be able to build this in a couple of months when i get the basics down!
Very nice. You did a great job. Thank you for all the building tips.
Your building techniques is very very impressive 😊
А моя?
Great satisfying build sir. Thanks for sharing it.
My compliments, wonderful work, greeting's from Rome Italy 😏💪👏
man this is amazing, so much from so little, and yet looking so much the part...
my first RC plane was a Cessna 150 (almost 50 years ago), and I remember it eventually flying a bit too fast for confort from being overloaded (too much paint and glue at the rear I suppose, then hefty balancing lead like half a pound, later swapped for a stronger motor...)
Perfect take off and landing. Excellent creation of this Cessna.. Been looking for something like this for long time. I am planning to recreate one like this. Appreciate all the effort by the creator
Smart and neat work.. very well done man.. thanks a lot for your good effort.
I JUST HATE WATCHING PEOPLE WITH SO MUCH TALENT..IT JUST ENDS UP SHOWING ME IN EXACTLY WHAT AREAS I HAVE FAILED IN MY LIFE...LEAVING ME TO SPEND AT LEAST TWO HOURS EVERY AFTERNOON WALLOWING IN MY OWN SELF PITY...😅😅😅😅😅 (GOOD JOB BUDDY)
Great job, that thing looks awesome!
I see u like working with a budget as well. Good work sir. What is the translucent tape u used there?
Nice work, she's a beauty, and handles very nice also.
Watching you make the wing was very satisfying!
dayummmm!! simple and awesome! 👌
Top job. Looks and flies great. 🛩👌👍
Your mini drill is badass!
Good, solid design. Nice job.
Hello. What span and chord have the wing at that size?
Also the length of the plane, please?
Nice work like always!
Be clear with the length. We dont know the size exactly
Suggestion: you have a wire foam cutter, why didn’t you use this to cut out the parts for the fuselage? Would have saved time and also better finish than saw blade or knife
Modellfliegergrüße nach Asien! Danke, was zum Nachmachen!
These videos are so satisfying to watch, I love them
Bro ur an absolute legend
had fun watching
Thanks
Glad you enjoyed
Great job very beautiful 🎉
Very nice as easily made thanks for sharing your knowledge and greetings from UGANDA
Chiếc máy bay thật đẹp. Một mô hình đáng để học hỏi. Cảm ơn.✈️✈️😍
Very very nice ... you have a golden hands 🖒💐
Thanks a lot 😊
BRAVOO...BRAWOOO !!! DZIĘKUJĘ, dziękuję!!! POZDRAWIAM.
Fantastic work. Great skill manual that no longer exists today.
Maravilloso trabajo. Gran habilidad manual que hoy ya no hay.
Flawless landing. Impressive.
What a nice creative design and build. Thanks for sharing as learnt a few things from your techniques. You make the build look easy, but at same time very inspiring.
😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉😂😂😂😂😂😂
Awesome video bro I always wondered how to cut the airfoil into the wing beautiful thank you for sharing.
Great R/C plane! Nice work! Cheers! 😁🔧🛠️👍
Thanks 👍
Robust build. Thanks for the video.
Where could I get the plans for this playing? It looks great.
Great work wonderful excellent idea and explained very good
GOOD JOB!!!!!! I saw the APC propeller and I prefer the more soft one, called GWS... for park fly, but it is only my taste =) AWESOME VIDEO!!!!
Your idea is great
well done. and CHEAP! Thaat is the spirit of modling...Congratulations and greetings from Brazil :)
congratulations very successful. 👏👏
That cutter for cutting wings where can I get it? Awesome techniques here
Dude this is by far one of the best video
I have seen.
No real print's, I think 🤔 you have more brain cells then me 😅.
Great video.
What is the thickness of the tailwing?
Great job bro! Rc planes are the best nice work.
I apptieciate such building the RC flying models !
You will be proud to create something at home. It is nothing special to buy beautiful EPP or balsa construction ARF models ...
Under nice looking multi colour foils there is almost the same construction ...
You are able to create whatever you want.
By the way, your hot cutting technique for creating the wings looks better then I saw at professional constructors.
Conclusion: cheap and better then ARF !
This is it !!!
Best regards !
12:14 the wing does NOT have a correctly located main spar. you may be aware that most prop-powered aircraft have some dihedral in the main wing. 12:24 there should be no 'extra' bends in a pushrod.! in this case, the pushrod should be routed to the control horn in a way that minimizes the angular offset in the linkage, while NOT having a bend in the pushrod. this might include, bringing the pushrod outside the fuselage farther forward, and use of a flex-limiting pushrod GUIDE, along the top of the tail boom.
His airplane he can build how ever the hell wants to. I build all my own and off the top of my head and I'm sure I'm doing everything wrong in some people's eyes but I could care less because I love how they fly. Thanks FOR the COMMENT.
Wow! You are an amazing man. Thank you for sharing
OMG - THAT'S FCKING GR8 MATE !!
Man, that was superb! Thank you so much. I am so motivated, and best news, it's Friday!🎉 Cheers mate! Michael 🇦🇺👍
Very good and very nice. Beautiful. Fantastic. Sir
Great attention to detail and finishing. Beautiful plane.
Glad you like it!
Great builder … I started with a F-16 slope glider which was very similar to your build but was a very fast flying plane and then my fellow engineer added spares with the works to fly with a gas engine on it with good results. Wind’s had to be at least 30-40 nots to slope fly very fast so much fun then the motor even got better…. Great 🤩😁🤩
Hi friend, Thanks for such beautiful work. I just wanted to know how you made that foam cutter used to cut the wing. Thanks
Nice build video ! That plane turned out great .
Yes, Ready Made Models is completely different from the lust of making it by oneself, it gives the real feelings of Flying, taught process v/s Flying comes Together ❤️..
Great Build!
As I am a person who loves rc planes, it would be great pleasure if you gave a circuit diagram for the reciever and also how to make the foam landing gear
And as an Indian buying transmitters and recievers is not cheap so will this reciever and transmitter work? FlySky FS-CT6B 6ch 2.4GHz Transmitter & Receiver
Appreciate your work👍👍
Great build, that’s impressive. I believe at the start of the video you said something about you linking the plan below. I wasn’t able to find the link for the plan.
Que buen video gracias por compartir, la verdad me gustó mucho, desde hoy uno más del canal gracias por compartir sus conocimientos Dios le bendiga mucho, saludos desde Santa Catarina Pinula Guatemala bendiciones
Nice work!! 😊 Can you please show how and where you fox the battery?? 🤔 For me is always the greatest problem
or use modeller's foam board, which is the same material but compressed and has a coating, you can get them with a waterproof coating, they are 2 - 3 - -5 mm thick and are extremely light and much stronger due tot eh coating/skin
Well done.👍 Looks exactly the same that horizon hobby wants you to buy for 300 bucks 😂😂😂
Awesome video! Looks great!
Just had a few questions. What are the clear plastic things made from that you used to make the hinges? And what did you make the foam tires from and how did you do that?? Any ideas for good quality but cheap epoxy resin glue?
Bro thermocol se jb wood ko fevicol se lgate h to kitne der bd proper dry hota h
Great build. Make the rudder and fin rounder and as its a tail dragger make it a Cessna 170 or 140.....
Very nice job.
Nice job .
Outstanding bro🎉🎉🎉🎉
Nice video!
Amazing build. The plan link don’t show anything really. Is there a link where it will show how to build this and not a picture?
Sir from where do you get the airfoil template
Stunning and very useful, really, but how can you built a tool for cutting the polistyrol ? Any suggest on that ? XD
Woow it's really good
You sir are an inspiration!
Sorry I meant to reply great video
Love your videos so much 😊
Great build! What is the fuselage length and wingspan in inches?
Fai un tutorial specifico per l'inclinazione del motore? Grazie.
Nice attempt at making a Cessna 150 r/c airplane. The only part that looks like a C-150 is the profile view of the fuselage. I am a retired flight instructor and have taught many hours of primary instruction for the Private Pilot License in the C-150. That is not the only airplane I taught is there have been many different ones. The biggest thing that is NOT a C-150 is that a C-150 is NOT Tail dragger, it has a nose wheel. There are other things I could go into about the airplane but it is not necessary as I do not want to divulge my knowledge and experiences in the field of aviation be it R/C aviation and full scale aviation. Lets just say that you need to research further for what ever aircraft you decide to build in the future to make it close to the real thing.
I love this channel really appreciate
Did you gave down and right thrust
Bhai plane me motor angle 3° Right me 1°down motor hona chahiye yanahi
great job! could you please make a video on how to do a wire cutter? cheers from Ecuador!
👍👍👍👍 excellent 👌
Absolutely love it kindly also share how much in total cost you ?
Sweet project!
Excellent tutorial!
Thank you! Cheers!
Really appreciate your work👌👌
