I'm about to go crazy with these comments Seaworld has nothing to do with that dolphin drive that takes place every year in Japan. They even called it cruelty. Seaworld also has the largest animal rescue operation in the world.
Do you even KNOW how almost ALL of these dolphins are obtained by sea world?? Not breeding, but capture. as a former dolphin king, I shall capture some humans with a monkey net, bring them to my "aquarium" and force them do shows 3 times a day, on weekdays and weekends. no, they may not go back to their home
"When the three dolphins were moved from the aquariums to a sea pen in May, Sampal found a hole in the net and escaped on June 22. It was only five days until she had rejoined the pod she'd been taken from four years earlier." www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/30/jedol-chunsam-sampal-dolp_n_3672648.html Even though these dolphins were in captivity for 4 years, they could still locate and rejoin their pod (family) once they were released. Amazing!
How about you watch Investigation of the Cove. SeaWorld doesn't get it's dolphins from Taiji, exactly why you shouldn't believe everything you hear, sheep.
No. This is not awesome. I'm not blaming you for not knowing: people need to be more educated on what really happens behind the scenes, but these are ABUSED animals. They live their whole lives in plain concrete tubs, with nothing to play with or stimulate themselves with. In the wild, dolphins can travel almost 100 miles in ONE day, but an orca would have to lap his pool about 2,000 times to get that same exercise. They are placed with unfamiliar dolphins (this has caused several dolphins to kill each other in the past), while in the wild, dolphins stay with their same pods for their whole lives. Please, this is not hate, this is educating the world on what really happens behind the scenes, and what these intelligent creatures deserve.
@Devilcorn123 yes, that much I know. But not everyone right? I don't want to start a fight here. Just a discussion. I wanna learn something new, but I also have something to say. And that is, yes, I'm aware that animal abuse did exist. And there's Allot. But does that mean that every animal trainer are guarenteed that they abused animals? Does actions of some, represent the actions of all? for example I have dogs. If there's an animal owners out there who abuse their peta, does that mean I torturing mine too? I beloved Same goes to dolphine trainers. Just because some company maybe misstreat their animals, that doesn't means all of them are. It Seems every animals show is concidered animal abuse now days. Again I don't want to offend you or start a fight. I want to learn new things, but I also have my opinion to say. ("Some" is not "all".).
Free the dolphin please. They do not deserve our cupidity to make money on their back. Freedom is a right, especially for animals who show such amount of intelligence.
I went to sea world not too long ago and saw the dolphins (people are allowed to touch them) and the poor things looked so sad and weak and they had thousands of little scratches on them :0
Can every one please just shut up for one second? Instead of shouting "FREE THE DOLPHINS!!!!", take a moment to realize why they are there.. The sea creatures that preform and live there have been injured beyond rehabilitation back into the wild. Sea World cares for their animals and if they were really abusing them they would have been shut down long ago. So before you ignorantly shout nonsense, take a moment to analyze the facts.
Listen to yourself. "Injured beyond rehabilitation back into the wild"? And yet they perform 4 to 5 shows a day 7 days a week? Yeah, that makes sense. They aren't "rescues." They're bred from "stock" that were often violently captured before SeaWorld's methods resulted in them losing their capture permit and eventually the Marine Mammal Protection Act. You're a moron, and you hate dolphins and whales with your actions, convoluted beliefs and astonishing ignorance. Don't pretend otherwise.
Off coursr it is animal abuse! What if you were taken from your family and friends, and into a tiny little pool or whatever and forced to do stunts and live in that tiny something for the rest of your life? Dolphins belong in the ocean and will always do!
All the people who say, "yeah this is great, it's so exciting seeing dolphins performing tricks!". I would like to see you all live in a small tank performing tricks for other people. I bet you would quickly change your view on how 'fantastic' life in a tank is. You wouldn't be able to cope with it! So why would you put these intelligent and social animals in the same situation? Just look what Sea World is doing with Tilikum. They're sending his body away to be dissected for research. Even after he's died they still make money out of him!!
If the dolphins didn't enjoy what they do then they wouldn't do what the trainers say. The trainers care for the dolphins as its there love. I'm Sorry but Dolphins are much safer in places like this instead of the ocean where anything can happen to them.
We mean the animals that are not injured and need the use of a prospective tail. Nobody would ever send out a animal out to its death bed on purpose. We are trying to say that the physically and mentally healthy dolphins and orcas should be released back to their natural habitats.
Just came back from Seaworld today, the dolphin show was very lackluster, brought the grandkids expecting to see this show, we were disappointed to say the least. Bring back the old show!
i see what you are saying, but its also good to interact and study them as well as some other animals to study behavioral patterns, its so much about this planet we dont know about geographic and animal wise...and we live on it ...earth is our home as well as the animals that live here, it would be nice to know something and everything about them as well as our planet
I was followed by the spirit of a dolphin, there are powerful spirits in the sea, you know they want us to join them and they dont care about the living, thats why, we respect the dolphin, you can learn more buy studying its spirit, than its body, but also know sometimes, its not just a dolphin.
Dolpins are smart and they hight chances of : hunted by sharks, trapped in crab cages, and evenfishing nets. And dolpins if they stay with a human for a couple of years it with make a bond and if they do lget let into the wild the wouldn't eat/hunt for themselfs or even be in a pack because they would expect the humans to do it for them!
UN SPECTACLE MAGNIFIQUE JE ME DEMANDE COMMENT ON ARRIVE A DRESSER DES ANNIMAUX COMME LES DOLPHINS ON DIRAIT QUE LA NATURE LEUR A OFFERT UN CERVEAU QUI AJIT COMME L'ETRE HUMAIN SAUF ILS NE PEUVENT PARLER BRAVO!
@@auravillxYT First of all, I have no idea what you just said. Second of all, this was six years ago. Third of all, I'm not condoning keeping wild animals enclosed.
Dolphins are such brilliant and beautiful animals. Though I must admit, these shows are rather entertaining, especially to see how smart a dolphin is in learning and remembering tricks, they don't belong here. I'm sure their trainers take great care of them, but they shouldn't be confided to such a small tank with human-controlled resources. It hurts my heart knowing they will most likely live their life in the same place they were placed in from day one. They belong in the ocean, to be free. We've had many shows, and plenty of experiments with them. We know these creatures a lot. Now it's time to release them where nature intended them on being.
DuckDude23 I should have used a different word, as that's not what I intended. I'm sure with long training, they could at some point be suitable for supervised life in the wild. Or, we could cease having a splash fest with dolphins of newer generations.
I've seen the show in real life and they actually have a huge tank out the back of the show tank so don't worry they get great care. Also the park has people in like animal inspectors to check if the space for the is big enough
I don't wanna see how smart dolphins are in learning anything just for people's joy. That's so unnatural for these beatiful creatures and so old fashioned for 21st century.
On the one hand, this is a beautifully choreographed show with stunning visuals and the dolphins are worthy of any star. But on the other, these poor animals are being manipulated with food and used as actors in human skits, skits that are complicated, time consuming, and need to be practiced over and over and over and over and over and over (you get the point) again to get to this level. You can just see that the dolphins are really tired of it and want the food, their movements are rushed and not timed with the music...
Appreciating these animals is one thing but this is nothing short of teaching bears to dance. This is NOT natural or nature !! Go and take a dolphin watching tour instead.
Let the dolphins free. They don't deserve to be in captivity in pool for people to profit from them. There is nothing other than commercial reason for us people to do this to wild dolphins to be coerced in to man made aqua pool. They have reasons to be existing away from all the hyped up musical enhancement to which we clap our ape hands upon them.
This is disgusting - how so many people still go to these barbaric shows is beyond me. These beautiful sea creatures should be living in the wild not performing tricks in a swimming pool to earn a few fish for dinner. PLEASE STOP GOING TO THESE SHOWS people..... :(
if they where put back into the sea there is no chance to survive because they don't know how it works because they life their whole life in captivity and they are used to being fed everytime and not to 'haunt'
I know seaword hasnt been in the best light these past years but this show really was a work of art from the music to all the stunts
I was thinking about that. Watch today’s show is disappointing comparing to this one! How it become I’ll never understand

"When the three dolphins were moved from the aquariums to a sea pen in May, Sampal found a hole in the net and escaped on June 22. It was only five days until she had rejoined the pod she'd been taken from four years earlier."
www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/07/30/jedol-chunsam-sampal-dolp_n_3672648.html
Even though these dolphins were in captivity for 4 years, they could still locate and rejoin their pod (family) once they were released. Amazing!
What educational value this show has?
The children go home and think dolphins were just clowns. oO
We have to stop Sea World!
Nope
Close these places now and watch The Cove film.
How about you watch Investigation of the Cove. SeaWorld doesn't get it's dolphins from Taiji, exactly why you shouldn't believe everything you hear, sheep.
It leaves me dumbfounded that people can still watch this in the 21st century. To keep these beautiful intelligent animals captive is sickening.
wowww...amazing
display of dominance.. this is pure animal cruelty.
Awesome
It always amazes me how Dolphins are part of the fish kingdom, it's also interesting how they live in rivers and wells.
dolphins are mammals
@@eldios831 nah now they live in pools filled with toxic chemicals

Perhaps on some planet somewhere, humans as pets are taught to do tricks. I wonder how they feel about it.
These shows are really really entertaining and I believe that they should continue these shows for entertainment
@Devilcorn123 how would you know? It's not like you watch how they were trained right?
Hunting skills are natural for them. Your stupidity is as high as their intelligence.
+Ronnye Jul have you seriously clicked on this video to tell somebody who has no power over SeaWorld to free that dolphin?
My favorite part is the parrot show but I do feel like it's not so good that their making dolphins be in captivity for so long.
not so good? It's awful
@@Inexpressable ya, dolphins in the wild is cool enough, maybe make theme parks like this close to where dolphins live so you can see them in the wild
At my encounter, which was at Orlando SeaWorld, The Dolphins would scream if the Diver said "Boo!" Which was really cute.

Thumb this comment up to show your support Seaworld.
I went to sea world not too long ago and saw the dolphins (people are allowed to touch them) and the poor things looked so sad and weak and they had thousands of little scratches on them :0
nice videos
i luv dolphins theyre so cute playful and smart! x3
So then you wont go to SeaWorld because you understand they are miserable like this?
Even after he's died they still make money out of him!!
vickstar1992 thank u u are so right.
Nice video! Thank you.
Great
Free the Dolphins and shut down these places!
Never take your childern to watch a dolphin show!!!

Orly Avital or whale
beautiful Show thank you ♥♥♥♥♥
I just love dolphins 🐬 and would rather see them free in the ocean 🌊 than in a small pool separated from their home and family
Just came back from Seaworld today, the dolphin show was very lackluster, brought the grandkids expecting to see this show, we were disappointed to say the least. Bring back the old show!
I love this show
As a Greek i feel really sad when i watch this. In Greece Dolphins are considered Holy animals and should always be free!!!
I agree with you
In Ireland they are considered a negative spirit by fishermen. Or one that is aware that humans are not so bright.
i see what you are saying, but its also good to interact and study them as well as some other animals to study behavioral patterns, its so much about this planet we dont know about geographic and animal wise...and we live on it ...earth is our home as well as the animals that live here, it would be nice to know something and everything about them as well as our planet
I was followed by the spirit of a dolphin, there are powerful spirits in the sea, you know they want us to join them and they dont care about the living, thats why, we respect the dolphin, you can learn more buy studying its spirit, than its body, but also know sometimes, its not just a dolphin.
blabla
Dolpins are smart and they hight chances of : hunted by sharks, trapped in crab cages, and evenfishing nets. And dolpins if they stay with a human for a couple of years it with make a bond and if they do lget let into the wild the wouldn't eat/hunt for themselfs or even be in a pack because they would expect the humans to do it for them!
Dolphins don’t need to worry about sharks 🦈, they can kill sharks by ramming their gills
It’s so sad to see such animals in something they don’t want to be in but only to be forced😔

+Ciel Phantomhive I don't understand you anti-caps any more.
+Ciel Phantomhive Correction: I never did.
Great video nice nice ;)
On the one hand, this is a beautifully choreographed show with stunning visuals and the dolphins are worthy of any star. But on the other, these poor animals are being manipulated with food and used as actors in human skits, skits that are complicated, time consuming, and need to be practiced over and over and over and over and over and over (you get the point) again to get to this level. You can just see that the dolphins are really tired of it and want the food, their movements are rushed and not timed with the music...
Oh hush
The tanks are too big you could easily make them smaller and shallower to make room for more audience
It’s a dolphin
Appreciating these animals is one thing but this is nothing short of teaching bears to dance. This is NOT natural or nature !! Go and take a dolphin watching tour instead.
Jus Moochin Yeah! This is nowhere NEAR the environment the the poor dolphins require! The need to LET. THEM. GO!
innxrwinter x it’s to late they can’t survive in an environment they didn’t grow up in
@@Andysgal797 could be, but we should stop doing this immediately.
I wonder if people are gonna start complaining and telling them to free the dinosaurs when they're cloned.
This is beautiful! The dolphins are so playful!
Um no, this is horrendous! Abusing animals for money, and they are only doing what they are trained to do. They are depressed, bored and miserable...
Lol until you realize dolphins are tortured to learn tricks like these
hi homie dolphin
I love Seaworld. Bought a Annual Pass.

Maybe you shut up all you haters, they are well treated and get lots of love, just get a life.
MAKE ME SAD THAT DOLPHINE MAY LIVING IN THE SEA . MAY HOPE AND PRAY THAT THEY PUT THEM IN THEM IN THE SEA .
if they where put back into the sea there is no chance to survive because they don't know how it works because they life their whole life in captivity and they are used to being fed everytime and not to 'haunt'
