    How did you attach the bottoms panel of the IKEA up unit after you shortened it? Would be nice if you actually showed what you were doing.

      You attach to the wall with fixings the same way if you’d not shortened it? Fixings to attach to your wall depends on what your wall is made of. Common sense is required when doing DIY.

      @@kirstygriffiths749 my question was concerning the hardware and dowels that are typically used to attach panels and horizontals. I guess the question was lacking information for applicable answer
