I love the rasp it adds to the exhaust. The sound vanities in general are kind of a game changer for customization.

Love the sounds of the add on kit. It is very different sounding to the standard vehicle without it

@@peterancares6498It also converts your gears into straight cut gears, which is where the whine is coming from. Your rpm also sound higher and louder
The whine you get from the gears are from “dog gears” which are straight cut gears, which are found in sequential transmissions
Ubisoft really out did themselves on this game I've only played the demo so far and I am blown away how amazing it is from the graphics, sounds and overall realistic driving just gotta save up to buy it now
For the people who have only played motorfest since 9/11 (TCMF released on 9/11, which is september 11th), there is a super cool TC2 update called "Flashback" with 4 new events that will come out after some time. The 6 new cars are the Creators Flashback, VW Golf Dash Edition, BMW M2 Beehive Edition, Jag CX-75 Concept Exo edition, Ford GT Ruby edition & and another FC RX-7 Special edition. The mazda RX-8 Thunderwave Edition comes back from the 20th to the 27th, and the new flashback events are called;
• Flashback Pacific,
• Flashback Pyramids,
• Flashback Forgotten Islands,
• Flashback Friday nights.
Flashback Pacific is H/C,
Flashback Pyramids is R/X,
Flashback Forgotten Islands is S/R
And we I don't know what could be the Flashback Friday night.
Along with these changes, Flashback Japan has been changed to Flashback Sakura and the A/GP Flachback is now called Flashback City Track (real creative title).
TL;DR
TC2 has a new, cool, Retro update that has some cool cars & tracks.
there is also going to be one, that adds more rumble to the original engine sound. unlocked that in some test phase, dont know when its getting released

For anyone who doesn’t have the kit, you can turn down the volume of everything but car sounds and get the same effect, first thing I did in when I started the game and mine sounds like this normally
What kit is it?
the sound kit turbo sound is honestly deafening in the high-end frequency but it's still cool that you can change ur engine sounds uniquely for every car like that with 1 kit alone.
The 8v engine swap is crazy , this kit is amazing also

I was doing the summit for the srt8 and got this but i ddnt know that vanity was that good! Especially for the nonturbos, we need a supercharged sound

Sadly, while it adds a "boost" to the turbo, it adds turbo sounds aswell. its kind of disappointing that it doesn't outright JUST boosts the original car sounds. but its fun to have atleast.

oooh, actually, I wonder how it sounds coming from other players' cars. imo, cars in TC2 and Motorfest sound WAY better coming from others, so it could sound pretty insane.
There is a glitch with the rewind if you take a checkpoint and you rewind the game Will stil think you have the checkpoint so you can skip parts of the race with that

@@christophercancino3997 so in the shop there a tab called vanities and bundles if I’m not mistaken that’s where you can buy the weekly vanities, but other than that after you complete a playlist you unlock challenges and when you progress through those challenges you get rewards which can be more vanities.

This sound is horrendous and gave me tinnitus
Hopefully they add playlists where you can use your own cars from the beginning, completing them with loaned cars everytime is so strange.
You’ve been able to do this since the start, once you complete the playlist you can go back and play it with any car

I did end up getting it and its nice on most cars but it makes alot of the cars sound the same with the turbo

Love the videos we need a money guide because this game doesn’t give out money very easily and everything is so expensive
Do stuff that rewards you with 'legend points' use a boosted car (this week is 25% at the race cars), do the 'legend' timeline on main stage and money will come soon i got 4 near 5 mil just playing the game and grinding 10 minutes races (any discipline), i imported all my cars from TC2 that gave me 560/ 603 of the cars, but if you watch the leaderboards a crapton of people are at the max legend level (1026), how i´ve no idea, but that gaming nowadays.

I lost this kit by 2k, as i was waiting, people are already at max level so is hard to get gold parts to boost scores lol.
I only have like 3 gold parts on the cars used and got mid 4k rank.
It will be hard just because it’s now 10k players total across all platforms instead of split leaderboards like in TC2.

On some cars it also seems to up the rev range(but not display it) for those who reads this, try it on the S2000, Lambo Essenza, Aston Martin Vulcan you'll see what i mean 🤣

The Playlist challenges have one of these as a reward you just won't get this specific sound outside of the summit if your a fan of rotaries one of the playslists gives you a rotary engine swap sound

It is less annoying if you use it on like a dragster car, as that doesn't remain on a high rpm for a long time. But I agree, it does get era-piercing on a hypercar while doing a grand race

Im so upset i got plat and then went to work, came back home and got on for the rewards i got bumped down to 10,115 and lost the plat reward. They should make it where if you achieved the score for plat you should get the reward, not lose it cause of people being sweaty
