Say what you like about Noel, he has always been a great and honest interviewee. Shows respect every time, listens and considers his answers. That behaviour has no doubt helped him and oasis in terms of longevity
The interviewer (Charlotte Roche) is completely different with Noel here than she was with Liam, cool and professional with Noel, and giggly and flirtatious with Liam to the point where I thought she was going to lean over and give him a quick gobble.
He speaks the truth when he says most rock bands are miserable and lost. Oasis are fucking rocking and although he was talking about another oasis documentary, watching supersonic made me wanna form a band so bad
His dig on Radiohead is hilarious. I love Radiohead, but I haven't been to their concerts and probably won't. I have been to Noel's concert, though, on his birthday. He's hilarious. If I'm gonna pay money for a concert, I'd wanna have fun.
Noel's actually not lying. Yes Dave Batchelor was originally brought in as a producer, but those recordings were scrapped and weren't used. They re-recorded the album with Noel and friend Mark Coyle on production which are the recordings that were used on the album so Noel was correct in saying it was just them and a friend. Owen Morris was brought in afterwards to mix and edit the record which you could argue was kind of like an extra producer, although all he really added was effects, edited the guitar overdubs and as he made no contribution or had any say in the recordings I wouldn't really count it as producing, especially due to the fact that things like editing and adding effects are common practises amongst mix engineers which is what he was hired as.
I read somewhere that there was a period of 10 or 11 months in 96 or 97 I think, where Oasis sold more Albums, singles and concert tickets than any other band on the planet.

I loved it when he said when we go on the road we enter our little bubble where The Beatles are still together :)
8.00. Noels interpretation of the internet. Totally prophetic.👌

Was going to say the same thing. Absolute prophet.
Man, what he said about the Internet back in 2002 is so fucking bang on.
No wonder why this man is my absolute idol. Fucking genius.
God I love this man

One of the best Interviews!!!!!🙏🏻Thank you for that Charlotte Roche (by the she is a great Interviewer)
it's hard to wrap your head around the fact we've been using the Internet heavily for the last 20 years
8:26 - This is incredibly prescient in today's world.

Wow, really prophetic about the internet.
Everything he said about Religion and the internet has become so true and more common. Mental!
His dig on Radiohead is hilarious.
I love Radiohead, but I haven't been to their concerts and probably won't.
I have been to Noel's concert, though, on his birthday. He's hilarious.

I think I'd rather listen to it with the interviewer left in, it's a bit strange listening to him answer questions you didn't hear!?

Not me. Seen her before.....horrible interviewer, incredibly annoying. Happy they did it.
Shes got a very very annoying voice. Thank god they muted her.

Not Noel now though 2022
Who is watching in 2065? He was soooo right about the super race of frogs 🐸 😮
2002? He looks older here, more 45 rather than 35
Yeah the interview was filmed 2002
Celebs spend shit loads to make them look younger as they get older
He was younger than 45 in 2002 because he's about 49 now I think.
+Medina Sod something tells me noel isn't the type to have plastic surgery though
Drenwickification There's other options. He certainly had his teeth realigned at one point
Everything he’s predicting here, became real. Yeah, r kid, we’ve fucked it all up. Now we’re gadget idiots.

Noel Just got caught in the biggest lie of his career 2:52... Definitely maybe went through several producers before they got the sound right

14:04 That's Islam Noel. Just come out and say it.
Chris Patterson, yes indeed. At this stage of history, the problem is not religion as such , it is Islam👎🖕
13:39 - 13:45 Noel sniffs coke through his left nostril
