Date of first upload 12/03/2023 (8,299 views to 19/6/23). Sunderland Maritime Heritage (SMH) welcomes the return home of MV Wearmouth, the pilot boat that provided pilotage services on the River Wear in all weathers and sea conditions, for 40 or so years. Built in South Shields at Robson's Boat Builders Ltd she was completed in 1975. After moving to North Wales and standing in a boatyard for 5 years, SMH was offered MV Wearmouth for a nominal sum by the owner, on the basis that SMH would complete the restoration. That epic task lies ahead! The video was filmed on 8th March 2023. Editing & camera work done by Keith Holman with guidance & collaboration by Jim Sullivan.

That sounds like you’re volunteering. The contact details are in the notes, I’ll look forward to meeting you to use your local accent to full effect. Regards, Keith @ SMH

Describe what is going on, instead of the irritating music.

      Hi David,
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. With over 16k views on two channels, you’re the first to say this.
If you click on the ‘more’ word just near the title you will find information about how the return came about. Maybe you don’t know that ‘more’ gives more!
      Regards, Keith

In what way does nonsensical singing help us watch the MV Wearmouth being unloaded by a crane?

Out of 23,000 views on two channels, you are the only one to make such a stupid comment! You obviously have a strange idea about creative entertainment. Perhaps you lack sufficient understanding of the English language that you used unreliable AI to create your comment.
As you have no videos on your channel and only 3 subscribers you’re hardly qualified to speak with authority. I suggest you go and learn about creativity for a few decades.

@@sunderlandmaritimeheritage9087 I consider myself a disciple of the late Christopher Hitchens, British wordsmith and iconoclast. Channeling Hitchens in my comment about nonsensical singing, I did not "...seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence." But rubbish words on the attack rolled blob-like out of my laptop demanding answers. Which are: I did not know I had any subscribers, AI Is beyond my ken, and my critique is unique after 23k views, how nice. Hitchens could be abrasive, never laid back and mellow. I, mellow-like, struck a nerve and hit pay dirt, if I may mix metaphors. Creativity? Come for a visit, we can meet on the corner of Highland and Sunset in LA.
