That was lovely! Such a beautiful place, I wouldn’t have wanted to leave there. I can not imagine going on holiday with my family and having it be that peaceful. Thank you for taking us with you.

I’ve just worked out it’s £7.20 pounds a gallon here which is $8.93 so you wanna fill up where you are. I wonder how much it will be in a few years time. Bonkers!!

Coucou Cuckoo, what a lovely surprise to see your holiday vlog.
Ah, the Provence. It is charming. I love it here in Normandy but I love staying in the south. During the heatwave I'm always happy to be here where it is raining, windy and much much cooler. 😄And a pool would be nice. But our garden is on a slope and on top of a big old cave. So not going to happen. But the sea is only a few minutes away. So I should not be complaining.😐
Your boys are the sweetest. And little Timmy.....I love that little face.

I think I’d be happy living any where in France. Even if just for the bakeries! But I do have a soft spot for the south and for the alps. One day I’ll explore the whole country, first I need to see all of the UK though x

What a lovely holiday vlog I’m like you sea ferry crossings are the pits it’s my inner ear & I suffer tinnitus in one ear ( like a demented wasp ) my earring aids have helped

Lovely holiday, I know what you mean when you get back from holidays you get that mixed feeling of not wanting it to end but glad to be home. It takes me a week or so to get back into my rhythm. ❤
I often find re-entry hard but I usually find the going on holiday much more difficult.
My mom couldn't stand wind chimes (a spider did damage to one of her ears) but after she passed my dad loved them. We always had aluminum pans tied in the garden to scare away critters but she seldom went to the garden--she would ask us if she wanted something special. Ah, memories of those hot end of summer days preserving the garden. Hard work but well worth it.
Precious family time in a beautiful place, how wonderful! Just having a giggle at the thought of you bringing home a decorative jar of snails and discovering them all coming back to life 😉😂😂. Thank you for sharing Cuckoo, reminded me of happy family holidays when my boys were young. Xx
An you imagine! That would have been awful, I could have been the person who brought over an invasive species of snail to eat all our crops. Horrors! Or maybe I’d just have been the person with little white snails crawling all over the house 🤣

Lovely holiday those figs looked tasty so much nicer when picked fresh, on the sicky feeling felt your pain I suffer too but eat ginger biscuits or sip ginger drinks it really helps 😊

Thank you for sharing your holiday. I've not been on holiday to France since 2012 (not counting 3 days at Euro Disney in March for my daughter's 40th) and it made me realise how much I love it. The pool looked lovely and cool.

I love wind chimes and have quite a few in my garden...I find them soothing😊
I think some people love them and some hate them. I just find them erratic and they stress me out 😂 My friend Emily says she will take her beloved ones down when I visit, isn’t that sweet of her ☺️

omgoodness....the last time I was on a car ferry (Wales to Ireland in Gale force winds) was horrifying...I never wish to experience that ever again. Seeing your face brought back to memory.....Hope you enjoyed your time in France!
That sounds dreadful and luckily it was pretty calm for our crossing but I still felt grim. 🙄

Happily we caught the euro tunnel home so I wasn’t sicky. Thank goodness! I’m gutted I felt poorly though because I’d like to do a cruise through the Norwegian fjords.

How long were you on the ferry?
It’s about 1.5 hours crossing so not too long.
Not a fan of wind chimes too!
