This ridiculous. If you're a casual, than you wont be pro at cs, because if you want to be pro you needed to play it since like 12, and if you're already really good, trying to go pro, I really doubt a course will help you more than just playing more. Maybe I'm wrong, but for me it really seems that way.

    • @Zecoder

@@ViktorKozh I don't think you can become pro in a short time, or course that does not make any sense. And i don't think the course will make you pro either, but the course is a good tool for those who are good at the game to improve further. I agree with you, the course wont make you pro. but it helps you with your journey into becoming a pro player... also you dont need to be 12 to be a pro, there are lots of pros in CS2 in their 20´s and 30´s, there is still a chance for you in your 30´s and 40´s if you get really really good. But the older you get, the harder it will become. But not impossible, but harder.

@@Zecoder ain to way you can be pro in your 40's. Just couple of legends in the 30's playing top tier cs rn, but all of them on the decline. Trend will continue that every year there will be new young prodigy like donk, so the older you get, more irrelevent you become. So answer is NO, you cant become pro in your 30's.

You have like 1000 cs2 lessons in youtube I think guys like styko can explain shit pretty well, even m0nesy teaches tons of stuff the easy way.
I have Played CS since 2001 Best way to become a very good player:
      -play a lot of competitive
-watch your demos specially the ones in which you lose
-practice movement (great movement saves you from many tough situations, and also being a good aimer involves movement)
-learn pretty much every single default utility lineup there is for every map
-CFG: bind all your nades, find and create your most comfortable cfg and stick to it (resolution, sensitivity, mouse grip, etc)
      -learn to control recoil
-try to find your most comfortable roles and spots in maps when you defend and when you attack "master them"
-have positive mindset, it doesnt matter if you lose you keep playing all it matters is if you learn from your mistakes if you are better everyday
      -learn about cs economy
-learn about position and reposition, dev1ce is the greatest awper because as soon as he kills you he moves to a different spot, most great awpers copied that from him.
All of this as fundamentals till it become second nature: throwing a nade, counter strafing, controlling recoil, repositioning, economy it has to be instinctive. Then keep playing as much as you can (from 7.000 to 10.000 hours in the span of 5 to 7 years) to develop gamesense which is the ultimate skill. And thats about it, I dont think s1mple can teach anything beyond that, specially since everything I mentioned Is what pretty much any pro did before becoming a pro.

I cant see how both old and new players will casually drop 150$ on courses. If you are new to fps games you wont probably even know who simple is, and if you check his last performance its mostly crying about teammates on faceit. @@dethepwner3892 It's not that simple as a problem, it's a SYSTEM for a reason yes it is flawed but this is the current universal metric for education you follow it, you get a degree, if it's "easy" you should be able to breeze through it then? You can learn almost anything on the internet, sure, but in a school quality is ensured and the education vision should be realistic enough that if you were competent you would pretty know a lot to give yourself a head start in your desired career later on in college. You're are in within a massive system, you can complain but you can't change it, and school has proven to be effective anyways so it's not like there's a lot you can do.

I appreciate him making an effort but honestly there is already tons of content out there for free, just know where to look. I guess silvers with rich parents would give it a go and absorb zero information. I might be sceptic but I dont think it's going to be a succes.

Looks good but actual content not there. S1mple as great of a player he is only talks in stream of consciousness and there is no structure and to be honest as a viewer it's really hard to make anything useful of it. If you are a huge s1mple fan and just want to hear him talk about the game, maaybe it's worth 150 bucks. Imo not tho
