I am a fan of Abyss Actors, most people underestimate them. They were my go to for the past few monthly events and they did great. A great blind second deck imo for those formats. Haven't tried in ranked in a while but I imagine they'd do well enough. I like running one copy of Fantasy Magic since it supprising can deal with almost all problem Monsters, or at very least bluff out an interruption - and being searchable via the archetype is good too. I love to resolve Comic Relief's pend effect, so good.
When the support was announced in PHHY, I got my ass handed to me on edopro when I was testing (Rise of the Abyss King is an insane card). About 2-3 days later I had been fully converted to an Abyss Actor player. The deck is just very fun, it's great going second and it's worst case going first boards can be pretty good. Forcing opponents to pop Opening Ceremony to let you draw into 2-3 handtraps is a rush like no other. It's still wild to me how little HOPTs there are in that deck.
Not gonna lie to you, I was disappointed in myself during this game. At 5:23, the card I should've searched should've been curtain raiser. It allows me to send a script from Deck to GY, and an abyss actor from ED to hand. Curtain plus that added abyss actor would've setup the entire abyss actor board all over again, but of course, the smooth braining was too strong
Yeah and funny enough if you got another script card you could of punish heavily I would say the continuous spell however it's not a script so it's very annoying lol
As an Endymion player, vs. another Pen player, I always hold my MM negate to the pen cards if possible because Pen cards have a ton of different effects while in their scale. Also, it costs the resource so if they pen summon they get less out.
abyss actors are rogue, the problem is that lot of people are now playing Purelly (where they struggle outing several spin back to deck) or against kashtira (lock pendulum zone and you are done) or labrynth (no pendulum summons)
I ran through Kashtira, Labrynth, and Chaos Max Dragon last night and boy I gave them the work Nirvana of the High Paladin for the win on Kashtira and pure Abyss on Labrynth and Chaos Max…
Dude , i've inly played an old yu gi oh psp game from 2008 with a personal deck (sacred nephtys phoenix) and I just want to get into the game again , I cannot for the life of me figure out wtf is happening on these videos XD

my go-to pendulum deck is usually yosenju, but ill be honest, abyss actor can be fun to play against, play as, and watch!

as a abyss actor enjoyer, they are under rated, they can do pretty nice control and combo when you know how to play it
